Rovers have officially confirmed that they have completed the signing of Danny Murphy, who has signed a two-year contract. Rovers beat off competition from a host of clubs to secure the signature of the experienced midfielder.
Manager Steve Kean talking to the official site (www.rovers.co.uk) said, “Being able to bring Danny on board is a massive boost for everyone. This is a pivotal signing.”
Rovers are also being strongly linked with Newcastle’s Leon Best in a £2 million deal and midfielder Dan Gosling on loan.
