Maybe Twente did their homework then.

Hope he wins it.

The race for the title in France seems pretty crazy. 6 teams within 3 points of the lead.

http://uk.soccerway....regular-season/

I bet the house on Marseille winning the league and still think they are the best side in French football. I think they'll do it.

Kaizer Chiefs beat Orlando Pirates, on penalties. They will now face, my local team Ajax Cape Town in the final. Not that anybody else cares, besides me.

Once again I'll say if Kean is a puppet his successor will be too, so why would you want another puppet?

Since my last post, Grasshoppers have won five out of six games to very much consolidate their third position in the Swiss top flight. Despite a 3-2 reverse to city rivals FC Zurich, Grasshoppers have churned out the results and have just beaten the then top of the league Young Boys 2-1 followed by a good 1-0 win away at St Gallen. Just wish I was still over in Zurich to watch them.

And the Dutch league is going down to the final day. Twente with a 1 points lead over Ajax.

I really hope he does it. Good luck to him. It will be interesting to see whether he stays in Holland if a good job opportunity arises in England. I'm sure there will be plenty of clubs wishing to talk to him considering how well he's done since leaving the England job.

So where you gonna live if they don't???

I can see brolly boy coming back maybe to Villa if O'neill wlks away this summer, people are saying West Ham but I'd rather stay at Twente than go there.

Reminded me of Beckham and Giggsy's free kick.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward.

Looks like Roma have just thrown away Serie A with a defeat at home to Sampdoria. Shame! haha

And St Pauli won 6-1 to give themselves a gap of 4 points over 3rd place with 4 games to go. Nearly there!

That result pretty much guarantees no Champions League for Juventus too.

Grasshoppers beat top of the table Basel 4-0 at the weekend to stay 3rd and go eleven points clear of 4th place with four games to play. European football all but guaranteed for next season.

Good news for Fulham, or maybe not depending on the new manager syndrome.

"Europa League semi-finalists Hamburg have sacked coach Bruno Labbadia just three days before the return leg against Fulham.

He will be replaced by Dutch assistant coach Ricardo Moniz until the end of the season, the club confirmed.

“We analysed the situation and we saw that as things were we would not be able to succeed against Fulham,” club president Bernd Hoffmann told reporters after meeting Labbadia earlier in the day.

“It was the last moment for us to react to keep our Europa League target in sight,” he said.

Hamburg were thrashed 5-1 by Hoffenheim on Sunday, dropping to seventh in the Bundesliga after a poor second half of the season in which they have won only four of their 15 league games since the winter break.

Good luck Fulham.
