Rovers captain Christopher Samba has become the latest player to commit his long term future by signing a contract extension which will keep him at the club until Summer 2015. Samba had been linked with a move away from the club after an outburst in the media in which he suggested that he was not happy with the direction the club was going in after the sacking of Sam Allardyce.

However it seems that the issues he had have now been resolved and he has signed the contract extension. Samba has been a hugly important member of the first team and fans will be delighted to see him commit his future to the club.
