Tried to use the website to renew but it is giving error messages. Is this the last parting gesture by the efficient Paul Agnew to ensure everything continues to run the same way as it did under his 'leadership'? Anyone else had similar problems?

You have to tick a box saying you are of sound mind, but you are trying to renew, so it trips a logic error.

All I will say in regards to season ticket renewls is the following "I am far from happy in regards to the last two years,, however I love this football club (yes still) because it is in my blood. I haven't bought one whilst this regime has been here, however things are slightly normal now (at least so) and it has hurt not going to games and I am sick of punishing myself, I am back, home and away, lets do this"

Also please people if you are interested in holidays, please visit my business website www.sunbayholidays.co.uk as for every holiday booked I would like to donate £25 to the Sam shaw appeal. I would also like to donate to the BRFCS WEBSITE if allowed.

I'm hanging fire for a bit tbh...

What for ? I am waiting as I am skint at the moment (or put another way, will be spending the money on a new tele-foto lens :-) ) - however will buy one before the season no matter whether they sell Rhodes or even half the team. Personally I don't even consider the potential promotion offer - I just think freezing the prices for another season is a very good offer in it's own right.

The offer is indeed superb value for money, especially considering I have two sons ages 6 and 15, and no doubt I will renew.

But for now I'm watching with baited breath as to who they appoint to the board, who they buy/sell etc, I've no doubt GB will do a job and called for him to be given the chance before Appy was appointed.

It's not like they will sell out..

You can't really argue with the prices which is effectively 23 "days out" at £225 which is effectively just short of £10 per game. I do also like the idea of the in case we get promotion special offer for next season as a way of rewarding the fans who have stayed loyal to the cause. It may also encourage those who are unsure about renewing or returning, anything that gets more people back at Ewood supporting the team is a big plus.

As a rovers fan, ive never understood the idea of renewing/not renewing based on who we sell or buy, for me its a weak excuse of not buying a season ticket. I'm all for folk who cant afford or justify one because i could easily find myself in that situation one day, but if you dont want to go just admit it rather than blaming everything else.

I've not had mine yet either.

I did login to onerovers.co.uk today though and it asked me if I wanted to renew my season ticket online, so might not bother waiting for the form

Rang town centre store last week and she said it may take a fortnight before we receive them but you can renew in shop.

  • 3 weeks later...

Can anyone confirm whether tomorrow is the last day you can buy ST at £225? Or is it the last day for ST holders to claim their seats? thanks...

r

Its definitely the latter, dont think its the former as well though

Why are you waiting for a renewal pack? Just wring the ticket office with your customer number {on your admission card} and renew over the phone. Simples.

Wring them and you may get your ST free ;)

Why needless to say? If you don't need to say it then don't. You're wearing your non renewal as a badge of honour and it's not. It's your personal choice not to renew, but it's not some moral highground you occupy there. We've gone beyond this surely. some won't set foot in Ewood until every part of the Venkys takeover is gone. That's their right and their prerogative but don't say it like it's in some way superior. The shredder had my renewal letter a few weeks ago too because I didn't need it - I renewed online.

I think the bit in bold is where we are now.

Some reasons to be cheerful:

- No Kean, Agnew

- Gary Bowyer seems a genuine bloke and one we can all get behind

- Season ticket prices are still very low (even ignoring next season's pseudo-offer)

- Some deadwood removed

- Some quiet but promising transfer business already under way

- People are even starting to ignore Singh's mad comments (Starve him of an audience and maybe he'll lose his impact)

- Academy status shows signs planning for the future

- Jordan Rhodes smiling and signing autographs in the club shop

Ironically now that Aggers has gone that, just maybe, we can start to move on...
