1. Very enjoyable night tonight! Really enjoyed myself and was good supporting a very worthwhile charity and a good friend.
 2. Hi m1st Thank you for the reply; it certainly seems like it's all systems go with this. I have around 6 people interested in joining up. I have emailed a few other of Chris' old clubs in the vain hope that they will be able to help. Just have to raise the funds for the self fund option then will look at booking it as soon as I have the funds and I have 3 other interested parties.

I did Kilimanjaro for Big Issue and raised a profit of £3,500. I have subsequently done Toubkal and Jebel Mgan the highest and second highest in North Africa.

I may be a bit of an old fart who gets his months wrong occasionally but I have always wanted to do the Inca Trail (high Inca trail - see Exodus Travel) and would be up for this.

Hi PrestonBlue. Could you PM me an email address. I need another (at least) 5 people to do this as a group thing. Once I have 10 or more (including myself) fully confirmed we can get together and work out finer details. I already 2 Rovers fans and 2 colleagues good to go. Thank you for getting back to me.
 4. Reading the Lancashire Telegraph again about Chris Thompson and his battle with Depression up until his death. Whilst I'm not old enough to remember him play, we share something in common and that is we both suffer(ed) from Depression. I have always wanted to go to Peru and trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and always been interested in Latin America. However as my personal circumstances have fluctuated in recent years, this dream has appeared to be falling further from my grasp. However in recent weeks, my dream has come back and I have researched how I could do it for a Mental Health charity and came across the following website: www.discoveradventure.com I have two options on how I could do it. These are: Fundraising Option Registration Fee: £449.00 PLUS Fundraising Target: £3625.00 (minimum) Self Payment Option Registration Fee: £449.00 PLUS Trip Cost: £1500.00 On the fundraising option, around 60% of the total funds raised would go towards the charity in question, however on the self payment option, whilst cheaper, I would still be fundraising but 100% of the funds raised go to the charity. I have emailed the club and Rovers Trust to ask for a little help in promoting this. Would anyone be interested in undertaking this challenge? Or simply donate funds to worthy cause. I am still making initial enquiries and gauging interest amongst the club, the trust and the fans? James
 5. Absolutely tragic set of circumstances surrounding Chris' passing. I suffer from Depression too and cannot begin to imagine what Chris was going through in the months leading up to his untimely passing. I'm not old enough to remember him play for Rovers but my heart and thoughts go out to his friends and family.
 6. I have the Peter White book - 1875 to 1988. Lots of old pictures in there. Most of which from before I was born lol!
