Alex Scott was performing at a slightly higher level than Wharton and went for 25 million I think it was, I don’t believe 15 for Wharton is massively unreasonable, particularly as that 15 isn’t going to increase much anytime soon playing in a team that can’t win a game. If there’s a decent sell on plus add ons I think it would be hard to turn down and if we can squeeze them up to 20 million then we’ll have no choice but to take it I feel.

Leo is certainly not the finished article yet, he’s an infant in terms of the age of a goalkeeper but it’s still concerning the way he seemingly flaps at everything. What I will say is in Raya’s early days he was a bit of a flapper as well, but he matured and developed at Brentford and is now number one at Arsenal. I’m not saying Leo will have the same career path but it’s still very early days for the lad and hopefully with every game he plays the better he gets.

Opposite to a couple on here I thought that Tronstad had a great game today, always popped up in the right place defensively to get a foot in and distribute the ball on, he’s obviously got a specific role in the team and I thought he did it perfectly today 🤷‍♂️
