  1. I can’t watch or listen to his rubbish, he’s just another Kean, talking absolute rubbish and not seemingly watching the same games we are. At least JDT had pride and spoke with honesty, even if his tactics were failing, this guy is a journey man and taking a wage for misleading us fans and talking rubbish.
  2. The year we got promoted under Dalglish we had a terrible run of form also, won 2 of the last 10 games only, including a Speedie inspired win away at Plymouth on the last day which I was at, this season is ending very similar as if we win these two games left we will have won 2 out of the last 10 games, in 92 we lost 6 in a row before drawing 2 and winning 2 to scrape in to the play offs. The games vs Derby and the win at Wembley against Leicester remain up there with the best games I can remember, I was 13, not sure my 44 year old self can take the stress!
  3. This isn't normal trade though, is it a players fault if the club haven't prepared them well for the game and they get injured, or is it the payers fault? What if some chodder takes them out? I understand the reasons for this in normal working conditions but for instance if you get injured at work normally you would get full pay, and maybe even some compensation if the employers was at fault. To say footballers should get sick pay if someone has broken their leg seems a little harsh to me.
  4. This is bloody awful, be a bonus to get in to half-time at 1-0 as we deserve to be digger behind.
  5. All signings and contracts are subject to the leagues approval, if that doesn’t happen there is no deal, no claim or liability possible. What will cost us is any future deal with Forest, LOBs agent, or any other club and agent that have paid attention to this farce. Everyone needs to move on, including the half wits that messed this up, and put in place a robust system to ensure that doesn’t happen again.
  6. Fantastic to see the effort and application the players put in tonight, hopefully gives them belief in a few big league games coming up. As a side note, that’s probably worth another 0.5m just for getting through, so at least 1m more than we probably budgeted for by getting this far. That’s massive for a club like us trying to manage FFP. Onwards and upwards.
  7. Only just found out that all the FA Cup games are live on the BBC red button, webiste or app.
  8. Becuase that risk was worth taking for someone that could significantly improve our chances of getting out of this league, and paying 10m to get many 100ms back was a great bet, especially as if the bet failed it didn't cost you 10m.
  9. Assume there was no rush with the Rochdale lad as he would have stayed with them until the summer anyway, ala Pickering with Crewe, and all focus was on the O'Brien deal, which on the face of it seems the EFL made it more complicated and caused panic and loss of time. If that is right then the EFL are ####s and the transfer should go through, but they won't allow it so we will lose out.
  10. Also, could this work in Broughton's favour if behind the scenes he says those he isn't responsible for fecked this up and they get potted.
