Bringing football back to the 90's with this retro classic. I have decided to take on the challenge of playing each and every Blackburn Rovers game of the 2017-18 League 1 season via the old school classic FIFA 95. With the help of a few friends we have the classic edition of the game and updated the squads and teams to represent

Wigan Athletic hosted Blackburn Rovers which has been dubbed a possible promotion 6 pointer (bit early but...). However the lack of goals didnt reduce the lack of drama, as Rovers were reduced to 10 men for a good portion of the 2nd half and were stretched further when an injury to Harry Chapman made them finish the match with 9 men. Check out my match review and more.

Who will take home the bragging rights between these two North West rivals? Wigan Athletic or Blackburn Rovers. These two fallen giants have a small but tense history, and have tasted premier league football together over recent times. But now both clubs try to navigate out of the English 3rd tier of football, and a win Saturday will be a huge statement of intent for the season. Cass the Cat uses her psychic powers to see who will be the happier team come th

Each week she will attempt to showcase her punditry skills by predicting the outcome of every league 1 game involving her beloved Blackburn Rovers. Rovers playing in league 1 (englands 3rd tier) for the first time in over 30 years hope to bounce back at the first attempt, can they do it? Well Cass the Cat might already know the answer. Check out this video and the accompanying playlist to stay in touch will all her Rovers predictions.
Last time these two sides played each other they were both in the premier league. The fallen giants of English football are both battling it out to get back in the 2nd tier of English football.
Throw the form book out the window, as both sides are currently as inconsistent as each other. Blackburn hope to get back to winning ways and Pompey hoping to bring home the 3 points after a long road trip.

Two massive clubs stuck in league one. Both sides hoping to get out this division sooner rather than later. Check out my match simulation as I (representing Blackburn Rovers) take on my buddy (representing Portsmouth). Who comes out on top?

Blackburn Rovers taking on Plymouth Argyle at home for the first time in 25 years, and Rovers fail to take home the win. Despite 25 shots for the night Rovers could not finish the visitors off. Plymouth could have won it, but Rovers can count themselves lucky that Bradley Dack found the equalizer before half time.

Something for all Retro Football gaming players/fans. I have been busy all summer and deep into the football season playing a retro footie classic FIFA 95. So this week it was time to simulate the big North West match up between Oldham Athletic and Blackburn Rovers. The results in all their HD glory can be found right here…

This was to be a bit of a task, as I have no (or very, very little) programming knowledge. So I was on the lookout for help. And help arrived. With this assistance on my side, the quest had begun and the result... so far is this...
