Blackburn Rovers return to league action hoping to rectify the errors of Saturday where they failed to put their chances in the back of the net.
Walsall, who are at the wrong end of the table look to continue the recent trend of team who come to Ewood Park and park the bus and settle for a point.
Rover still on a good unbeaten run, but need to start getting victories instead of draws, can we start a new run from Tuesday?

Blackburn Rovers had the chance to close the gap on 1st place Wigan Athletic if they could win at Ewood Park against strugglers Northampton Town.
However it was not meant to be, as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's team managed to get a cheeky breakaway goal and sat back for the majority of the game. Fortunately for Rovers we had the attacking options on the bench to change things, and it eventually happened thanks to an in form Danny Graham.

Rovers look to close the gap on leaders Wigan Athletic this weekend, with the latics in FA Cup action. If Rovers win they could be as little as just 2 points adrift of the top spot.
Standing in their way are Northampton Town, and Rovers would look to avenge their piss poor performance against Northampton over the Christmas break.

Blackburn Rovers head to Fleetwood for their next "Cup Final" as they try to get their promotion push on the right track. Rovers currentyl find themselves in 3rd spot, and need to keep up the pressure on 2nd place Shrewsbury Town.
Rovers will be boosted with the arrival of Jack Payne who has joined the club on loan from Huddersfield Town. Rover could also see the arrival of a Fleetwood Town player as we are linked with Fleetwood left back Amari'i Bell.

Blackburn Rovers upped their game as they played their most important match of the season, against 2nd place Shrewsbury Town.
Rovers coming out on top in a impressive 3-1 win, thanks to goals from Cpt Fantastic Charlie Mulgrew (x2) and one from on form Danny Graham.
The win closes the gap on Shrewsbury to just 2 points, and with Wigan dropping points we close in on them too.

Blackburn Rovers have reached the half way mark in the season, so I thought I would join in with all the fun and try and predict the outcome for Blackburn Rovers and the rest of the League 1 teams.
Will Rovers make the top 2? The Playoffs? Champions? Relegation?
Surely not the last one.
Anyway, I spent a small amount of time working through the remaining fixtures of the 2017-2018 League 1 season and these are my results.

Blackburn Rovers started 2018 in unimpressive style as they could only pick up a draw agains Red Hot Rotherham United.

The 2018 January transfer window is about to open, what does Tony Mowbray have in store for players coming in and what about players leaving Ewood Park?
We might have a quick window or we might be one of the busiest teams in the division. Here are my thoughts on which players will be leaving Ewood Park in January 2018.
As for players coming in... that is an unopened book. I am sure Tony Mowbray has his plans in order and will add some depth to the Blackburn Rovers squad.
