Rovers's January transfer needs
SuperBrfc replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Surprising, if true. Then again, this lot can find the money when it suits. 20k a week for Fleck supposedly. 20k a week for Dennis. We can sign proper players on that money. They choose not to. A project wish of a biscuit and orange juice seller who knows nothing about football. He wants to develop players though. Yeah. Sure. -
Snip from Guardian report: "The imperious Adam Wharton was the architect of the opening goal when he picked out Tyrick Mitchell on the left before the England midfielder eventually played in Nketiah, whose crisp finish left Bernd Leno flailing at thin air."

I attend and I’m happy to criticise ‘the club’ as those running and owning it deserve it, and there’s no issue in those that don’t go doing the same. Nothing unfortunate about it and it has got to the stage where it feels like they are embarrassing this grand old institution on what seems like a weekly basis. -

The biggest concern is for the fans who are turning up in atrocious weather to cheer the team on and having to trudge home (some long distances) in the same conditions. They deserve medals. Those who don’t attend matches really don’t have a clue how it feels but guess they are happy to criticise the club in this unfortunate situation. I pray that our luck (and the weather) changes soon and we begin to get the results that some of our performances deserve. -

'Please cut out...' I doubt that part will be mentioned, Rev. -
Dolan sent off for two yellows tonight. Second is a shocking dive by the opposition player.

Pitch directly behind the changing rooms is the worse pitch to play on in my experience -

So why mention if not for January window given the thread title The squad was set for different formation and it wouldn't surprise me if we return to it at some point.. When you signed so many non championship experience you expect to be lower tho a number of signings have been good-decent signings. Some haven't. Don't agree on your last point -

Actually, opinions do need justifying. That’s how you gain or lose credibility. -
I agree on the owners. But the bigger worry for me is the people actually left in charge of running the club locally. Amateurs and non-football people trying to run a club of Rovers' stature. We've been seeing the impact of this over the years, but we're now at the stage where games are being abandoned due to a lack of action/knowledge/experience/lack of willing to spend money on anything to do with the upkeep of the facilities.

They tried to solve it by bolting on a lump of pipe in direction of the river flow. That sums up everything that happens at this club on and off the pitch and why we are the joke outfit we are. All leads back to 4 people via one man. -

I firmly believe that the owners have absolutely zero interest or knowledge in what is going on at the Club on a day-to-day basis and their little goon in the shadows is quite comfortable with that and running things as his own kingdom in their absence. I would be amazed if any of the owners were aware we were playing yesterday, or that the game was abandoned, and much less that this is a direct result of their conduct over many years. IF the club was to be fined by the League for this then all that will happen is the henchmen from the finance team and Suhail will have to juggle the numbers again, probably cut the transfer budget or wage bill or offload a player in January to cover it from the club's own resources. Owners won't find out about it. No way is he going to ring them up and ask them to cough up extra cash. On it goes. -

Getting there.... Slowly but surely we will get a point. Admire anyone that goes and even more the players. -
An away tie. We've got a better chance of winning away from home. Plus at Ewood the game might not start/finish and we can ill afford more postponements and embarrassment.

£17,000 for covers used for cricket (they should be fine?) This would cover an area 100x90metres. -

Owners are going to have to solve the problem. I assume the EFL could impose a hefty fine, if we have anymore suspensions/abandonments? -
Rovers's January transfer needs
roversfan99 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Im not saying specific to January. I am saying thats how much work needs doing, as a minimum. Its obviously not ideal that the squad is so imbalanced and has so many poor players. Hence why we are so much lower in the table. Obviously some will work out and some wont, the issue is that so many not only havent worked out but they are so bad. -
plymouth away🙂
