My boss said that in the team meeting yesterday "we need to find you another club to support". -

For me, my only choice is to not support the club, as it is. -
Might have spoken too soon. just nipped out to do the school run and it’s pissing down again (Lower Darwen).

Why on earth aren’t the club saying anything? Even if they think the game will go ahead, communicate it. How are the Oxford fans meant to decide whether to travel up. The lack of communication since Saturday has been disgraceful. No excuse. If I could choose another club to support, I would. -
Presumably it will have been checked at 10,11,12,1,2.....

Atlast I reason for me to chant John Kettley, John kettley, John kettley, Oh John kettley !

Seems unnecessary to check the pitch at 3 if you're going to reassess it at 5 anyway. -

Bit of blue sky coming through now, rain was torrential an hour or two ago, but seems to have stopped. Presuming it doesn't start up again now, there are literally no excuses for this match not to go ahead.

Is it cheaper for the club to 1-proceed with the game and hope it isn’t called off 2-proceed with the game and expect it to get abandoned 3-call it off in advance and go for a replay -

Weather and Radar looking clear for the duration of the game down to the current state of the pitch now. So no rain due, just need the groundsman on there now and get this game on

I love how we’ve all become weather forecasters. Rovers should launch their own weather forecast news and I wouldn’t mind joining up! -

Lancaster Rover replied to Elrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It's cleared right up in Lancaster and no further rain forecast, assuming Blackburn isn't too dissimilar you'd think with the wind and the time to kick off the pitch would have sufficient time to drain into the river -

I looked at the river at 12.15. It was running fast but wasn't above the bottom of the drain quite. -

My increasing dad jokes are a further sign of these desperate times! At least I avoided signing off with "I'll get my (rain)coat"
