Its not as straightforward as that meaning that he wanted him. After those budget cuts ("the project changed" is a miserable summary of the spiel in modern day football) the more likely scenario is having called for a striker for ages, the 2 who he was offered the choice of were both crap, and Telalovic was in his opinion the least bad option. Doesnt mean that he wanted him.
