I probably do Tyrone. But as football has and always will evolve I don't believe refereeing has kept pace with it. The law makers certainly don't help neither the game or officials with the constant tinkering to the laws and diktats from the authorities. When I was active an esteemed colleague had a saying which was 'let the referees referee'. I agree wholeheartedly with that.

Missing out from away fans contributing as well. Club benefits from fleecing big followings but aside from the Fernhurst and a few taxi drivers not much else makes the most of it. Blackburn was the central focal point of East Lancs and far beyond for football, shopping and day/night out. What is it now ? -
It's like I'm living in a time warp. The Club just keeps on repeating the same old tried, tested and failed approaches to ticketing offers and apparently expects a different outcome. They've done similar to this pretty much every year for the last 20 years now. Each and every time the uptake is a matter of 100s at best. Why keep on doing the same thing again and expecting a different outcome? Or maybe they don't expect a different outcome and are just doing it to give an appearance of making serious efforts? And I haven't touched on the diabolical behaviour and approach of the club over the last few years and the clear obvious impact that has had on attendances. Almost as though they don't recognise that actions (or lack of) eventually have consequences.

Premier League

With VAR I dont understand why they dont just have a timer. Count down from 15 seconds , 2 best camera angles played at real time. If the referee cant make their mind up it wasnt a clear and obvious error. -

I don't want to derail the discussion, but it's very different. By going and playing in Saudi Arabia, or joining LIV, participating in a comedy festival there, or doing a host of any other jobs in KSA you are being paid directly by the authoritarian regime, benefiting from their restrictive policies, and existing within infrastructure that is built using slave labour. There are lots of reasons to be critical of the US Government and many American companies, but playing for Inter Miami doesn't mean that your salary is literally coming from Donald Trump, nor are you playing in the Raytheon Arena, and you aren't living in a society that has been built (recently) by slave labour. It's very hard to have a clean life where you don't tacitly endorse certain activities, but you can put in some degree of effort to distance yourself from them. Banking with HSBC means I use the same financial institution as many organizations and individuals I disagree with (many of whom HSBC is even investing in), but that isn't the same as taking money directly from those groups. It's disingenuous to imply otherwise.

You mean “ the standard is falling “ of course. -
What would be defined as daylight? Thats where the added subjectivity would come into play. It seems pedantic how just a tiny part needs to be offside to be flagged as such, but at least that rule is clear.

£15 Riverside £20 rest of ground Against Wrexham on New Years day and you'd be approaching a full house. Oh, and rename the Riverside in honour of Tony Parkes at half time. -

We surely cant lose another at Home can we!?!?😳 -
At this point it's hard to escape the conclusion that they're deliberately making one or two "offers" they know won't work so that Suhail can tell the FF that "We've tried doing X, Y and Z and it didn't work". Then they can try charging the same numbers of fans (or less) and even higher amount than currently to hit their target.

(Imo) The fact that it was apparently a majority decision but a large number of the panel abstained. On the other hand: a) We should have maintained our drainage facilities properly over the years and/or taken additional measures for this particular fixture given the forecast b) We could (should?) have appealed but chose not to c) There's nothing stopping us going out and winning the game again. Karma's a bitch sometimes but if we lose tonight that should be the end of it, and I hope we don't hear any whining about it from anyone at the Club going forward or heaven forbid if the worst comes to the worst. -

The town itself doesn't help with the matchday experience, growing up there were so many pubs etc to visit and the town was absolutely booming. Saturdays shopping in town would be a write off - because rovers were at home! Now? 90% couldn't care less the town has moved on from the club and they have distanced themselves. -

We’ll be the unluckiest side in footballing history to get relegated if we do go down. We would have won every game this season according to Ismael if it wasn’t for those pesky officials. -

In response to messages re TV that the system won't let me quote...I was of the understanding this is a rescheduled sat 3pm game and therefore couldn't be shown on sky sports + but you're right, it is now showing on the schedule -
Never learn with the bundles do they. £100 for 4 games in the Blackburn End with one before Christmas isn't an attractive deal. If they have to do a bundle, how about the 4 January home games for £50 or something? Ideal for a Christmas present, probably still wouldn't be much of a take up but would be better than that offer.

What's the other one you're referring to? It's a disgrace this replay is even happening (at least in this form). I'm going, but I'm not happy about it. And I'm certain I'll be going home with a very bitter feeling. -

I’m pretty sure they usually don’t do pre match conferences when it’s Saturday Tuesday. I only know because they don’t post it on rovers tv -
One of my favourite penalty awards - a very rare one where all the Wimbledon players just react with a shoulder-shrug and 'Yep that's a penalty' Can you imagine today - they'd be screaming for a VAR check just in case there was a feather touch on the ball or some other technical reason to overturn the decision.
