So when you say the criticism of his was ‘wildly over-exaggerated ’, I think your way off.

Stress fracture is an injury you can’t put a time frame on due to how delicate the process is and could need resetting multiple times. It wouldn't be a surprise if he got say 7. I'd be quite surprised if he got more than the 9 he managed last season. I dont see him as a 15 goal a season striker. Even if he did, we still need far more unless everyone starts chipping in from all over the pitch which they haven't done to date.

Cantwell looked in very good shape yesterday. Worked hard, and it was his burst in to the box that enabled De Neve tap in. Didn’t see that sort of sprint from him last season, I think he’s going to be a key player this year. Needs to be more selfish with pop shots, But a fitter, sharper Cantwell could easily add this to his game. Still needs a back up for him as he won’t be able to play every game
