  1. Past hour
  2. Already up … Tyjon wanted by both England & Poland … Swiss lad being worked on with his club for a Pay as you play deal … must really like him …
  3. Realistically we aren’t getting all of that Val has pretty much said cb transfer now back on the table again right winger always been on the cards and a cm anything beyond that now will be a bonus or from the loan market which he isn’t a fan of
  4. When asked if it was about an incoming or a new target, he replied with "not really".
  5. To put it in a sentence - you need to look at the date of issue and the ten year rule.and ignore any months that might have been tacked on to your ten years previously if you want to be safe.
  6. Away kit is starting to remind me of an Arsenal away kit. 3 cracking kits tho…might get the green one
  7. Completely agree. I wasn’t a huge fan when he first joined, as he often stood motionless in games and looked unsure, but he’s grown on me. I like him. He doesn’t dodge questions and his interviews don’t appear hurried.
  8. Google maps isn't what it used to be
  9. Today was only a friendly and I dont think it can be underestimated that we still have plenty of work to do in the transfer market, even before considering potentially replacing Brittain, Travis and Tronstad. We have nowhere near enough quality or quantity in attack. Especially if we are playing a high press and with a manager that is reknown for regular, multiple subs, we need 9 or 10 options along that front line to try and always have 3 or 4 on the bench at any one time, factoring in injuries. Its not a silly number, 5 have gone out so its not like we would suddenly be swelling the squad. We obviously need a right winger but we also need a number 10 and a striker who can compete with Ohashi, when he isnt on the pitch then Gueye forces a total change of style. We also obviously need another right footed centre back. Tavares and Alebiosu in particular feel like options more to be cover and will hopefully give us stronger options in the squad rather than last season when Forshaw/Buckley or JRC/Carter at right back really caused a huge dip.
  10. Today
  11. Pretty shoddy to not even receive a holding message response. I have Customer Service teams reporting into me in my day job and the absolute basic requirement for customer contact is to acknowledge the query/request, even if it's a 'I don't know, but I'll find out'. Complete radio silence is very poor.
  12. I get that the right wide player tucks in, but the setup doesnt specifically need a right winger who offers nothing in attack to work. It would surely work better if an attacker from that position could offer a threat that would really give defences problems knowing that theres an attacking right back to deal with at the same time.
  13. What happened to that winger you said was ‘on route’??

  15. I'm not doing another debate over Hedges with yourself and Others for the million time. It's was just suggestion of mine. It's very clear how Ismael wants us to play formation wise and style of play with the ball and without. So I find your comment abit weird unless you disagree that's how we want to play
  16. Diangana wage demands likely will be an issue watmore meh would t be for me personally
  17. Fair enough It's good that Rovers have been very pro active getting all 3 kits out by now. Much improvement there and good to see
  18. Thanks Tyrone, it’s forced one of our group to get a new passport just to be sure.
  19. On the winger front, Grady Diangana is looking for a club I believe. As is Duncan Watmore. Both better than Hedges going forward
  20. Agreed. Dennis was away with the fairies, and cost us goals with his careless approach. Woodrow was meh, but you could see he'd been a footballer at some point. But the underlying point is well made - a lack of strength in depth has cost Rovers dearly in each of the past 4 or 5 campaigns, with the post-December dip in form robbing us of any decent chance of progressing upwards. We somehow need to get to a place where every position has back-up, and they can all fit into the manager's preferred style and tactics. Ain't happening, is it? But well done VI and the boys on delivering a decent performance today against a much higher quality (on paper) set of players. Maybe VI is an alchemist, and Rudy is visionary and incisive. Not holding my breath on either count, tbh.
  21. Can't help but feel that might be it apart from loans now

  23. I'm really warming to Val, out of the last 3 managers, for some reason, I enjoy listening to him the most. No bullshit, just straight to the point, abit like JDT but I felt he could sometimes come across quite arrogant. I like the idea of how we are trying to play but if teams do their homework we could be quite easy to play against. One thing, Watford and West Brom fans have all said is that Val can be quite stubborn with his tactics, tends to always make subs at the same time etc...We will come unstuck a lot if he doesn't change his ways. Bring in a few more exciting players with pace and at least we will be exciting to watch this year.
