  1. Past hour
  2. If you mean you want another striker option with Ohashi and Gueye then I agree here
  3. I gather he didn't disgrace himself on his debut. From what I've seen of his highlights he's quick, without being lightning and skillful enough. Think Emerton (obviously Bret was in a different class, but that kind of 'athletic wide player who gets up and down').
  4. I'm calling it now Kargbo will explode onto the scene this season out of seat sprints and goals and assists galore 😳
  5. Unhealthy reliance? More cliches again. If you good enough you are older enough. I wanted Brittain to stay overall. Over a season injuries will happen but so far I like what I see in Montgomery. We been left short in centre midfielder area over the last couple of years so having 5 options at least cover that. I am NOT going and going Forshaw being here every week. You are like a broken record tbh
  6. Or familiarity with how we want him to play. Last thing you want to do with a new signing is throw him in against a PL outfit and let him get murdered 'cos he doesn't know where he's playing.
  7. You’re the touchy one. “Oooh someone criticised a player new player by spouting facts.”. Context on what? I checked how many games he started on his Wiki page and that was it. I didn’t realise from there that he actually wasn’t first choice centre back last season either.
  8. Gueye for Ohashi, Kargbo for Hedges - is our strongest side I think.
  9. Hahaha I was just watching the YouTube video why do they feel the need to pose for a photo, on video 🤣🤣🤣 "Right lads we need footage of you standing still and posing for a photo that's great " 🤣🫠
  10. Wonder if "not ready" relates to his fitness, or ability Or, probably as it has been pointed out to me familiarity with how we want him to play
  11. They have money, a waiting list for season tickets and owners that care. We have the Venkys.
  12. Agreed, a good lad actually a bit of relief at the back for us, knows his game and a harder worker
  13. I was talking to someone this morning who wanted to buy a third kit for their youngest but were shocked they didn’t do infant sizes Seems an odd decision
  14. ‘Already seeing posts’ not specific to yours just a response in general don’t be so touchy and read it correctly you replied saying he started and they came 21st at least provide context if as you said you have checked
  15. I know the club's twitter feed used to provide game updates, no idea if they still do or if it was ever utilised for pre- season games. As far as the club caring about the fans in general, no. Begrudgingly tolerating would be more accurate.
  16. Val just done an interview on twitter saying that "Ryan is not ready". Don't think he's injured.
  17. WTF you on about? The poster said he was a starting CB for a team that finished 7th. I thought interesting, so I checked. And he wasn’t. What am I meant to do? Agree and lie just to make us all feel rosey about a new signing. Ive said he is a decent squad signing and an upgrade on Sanderson from last years squad. He will also be more durable than Carter and Wharton. Stop looking for shit that’s not there.
  18. Can’t pretend I know much about him but seems a good signing that and it’s 3 years in our favour as well (2 if I doesn’t work out for us) Sensible!
  19. concerning that 7 players are injured or not considered match fit for a friendly despite being back in preseason for nearly a month, this is`nt good at all
  20. Have bought a match pass on Everton's site, Ridiculous that Rovers not offering anything when the away team are!
  21. And yet only conceded 6 less than us and played 18 of the games at left back already seeing posts about downgrades etc let’s judge after a few games and I’m going to be like a broker record here but the same posters said the same about batth and now he’s put on a pedestal of course it’s a forum and things can be debated and put forward but you will think people will have learnt from last summer about pre judging players….clearly not
  22. So, we are missing 7 first-teamers. Sounds like most of last year. When we got guys back healthy, we charged up the table.
  23. Sensible signing. In isolation, it feels like a good swap for Batth. More experience and reliability at the back, but less likely to drop off a cliff due to age.
  24. This is as much as we got Ex-Toffee Adam Forshaw, Aynsley Pears, Carter, Jake Garrett, Harry Leonard, Ryan Alebiosu and Sidnei Tavares all miss out on the squad, whilst new arrival Sean McLoughlin will watch on from the stand.
