  1. Past hour
  2. No, the highlight was that glorious goal he scored at Birmingham, last game of the season 2 or 3 years back. Alas it was a outlier.
  3. Dennis ( and Fleck)smelled of agents to me...
  4. I mean, look, I've got nothing against Bucko... but the highlight of his time here was probably when he bounced the ball off that bloke's head and got sent off for it. Makes about as much sense as Gordon Greer being included in a "Rovers Legends" team.
  5. pasha, gestede and the rest of that lot in the background hate the fans,it`s clear they have nothing but distain for us
  6. to much for pasha and the pound counters to spend, they`de claim they can`t afford it on the issue that it`s not value for money and won`t get used often enough,
  7. I know..... By that way of thinking we can expect J-Lo to rock up for one in the coming weeks.
  8. Today
  9. We now have a 'rainy season' apparently. Used to just be winter and a pretty wet part of the world to begin with. Here's my solution: Club statement tomorrow from the owners or at least the boss at Ewood: 'We want to apologise to our fans, players, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town and the League. What has happened twice this season is unacceptable for a club of our stature and we have a responsibility to take action to ensure it doesn't happen again. We are employing specialists to immediately investigate and report on the issues and remedial work that can be completed both in the immediate future and at the end of the season to resolve this issue. As a gesture of goodwill all fans turning up to the replay will get a free drink/pie/chips and ticket holders for the original game will get free admission for the replay. Tickets otherwise will be £10 anywhere in the ground. This club and our fans deserve better and we apologize for the embarrassment this has brought and to the players for their wasted efforts' That took me 2-3 minutes. Yet it's far more than this lot will do.
  10. Maybe he works with too many Preston fans.
  11. The problem is that it isn’t particularly awful weather. It’s just typical winter up north weather.
  12. We obviously are where we are as half way through the season and I expect, as always, they’ll just try and muddle through (and hope that rare metrological phenomenon ‘rain’ holds off on match days). But do they deserve all the opprobrium that comes their way in the meantime? Yes.
  13. I did have a look at going today but they play out in the back of beyond near Emley Moor and I don't drive so that put paid to that. Hopefully get to see them at Stockport in January.
  14. The Ewood brain trust will have had their heads together coming up with an official party line and appropriate direction for the blame to be passed. My money is on it being Waggott’s fault for stitching the pitch prior to last season. I can’t believe any of our fans are calling for a points deduction. Not only do we need as many points as we can get, why would anyone think this would remotely bother anyone at the club apart from us fans? The accumulation of points on the pitch is far from the top of the clubs list of priorities. If he was given a choice between a 10 point deduction and a £100,000 fine, which do you think Suhail would opt for? It wouldn’t be the same choice you’d make.
  15. Given the current situation and the awful weather we are having what do you expect to happen? Postpone all home games? Play them all away? I believe It was known that a full pitch rebuild was not done when the stitch pitch was laid presumably for cost reasons. The current situation is not ideal and needs addressing but that will have to be done in the summer. Of course we aren’t happy with the owners and stooges but it’s not going to get them out of the club I’m afraid
  16. You seem very invested in this Liverpool team.
  17. Surprising, if true. Then again, this lot can find the money when it suits. 20k a week for Fleck supposedly. 20k a week for Dennis. We can sign proper players on that money. They choose not to. A project wish of a biscuit and orange juice seller who knows nothing about football. He wants to develop players though. Yeah. Sure.
  18. Snip from Guardian report: "The imperious Adam Wharton was the architect of the opening goal when he picked out Tyrick Mitchell on the left before the England midfielder eventually played in Nketiah, whose crisp finish left Bernd Leno flailing at thin air."
  19. I attend and I’m happy to criticise ‘the club’ as those running and owning it deserve it, and there’s no issue in those that don’t go doing the same. Nothing unfortunate about it and it has got to the stage where it feels like they are embarrassing this grand old institution on what seems like a weekly basis.
  20. The biggest concern is for the fans who are turning up in atrocious weather to cheer the team on and having to trudge home (some long distances) in the same conditions. They deserve medals. Those who don’t attend matches really don’t have a clue how it feels but guess they are happy to criticise the club in this unfortunate situation. I pray that our luck (and the weather) changes soon and we begin to get the results that some of our performances deserve.
  21. 'Please cut out...' I doubt that part will be mentioned, Rev.
  22. Dolan sent off for two yellows tonight. Second is a shocking dive by the opposition player.
