  1. Past hour
  2. Preferably avoid Chair as he throws bricks at lorries. Cantwell has the capacity for this. Hopefully the Leicester lad can ease the creative burden and let cantwell roam more
  3. whats the nixon fairytale this week,he apparently has a story about rovers
  4. Should be a great day, still hoping Mcllroy will win. Its been a great 3 days so far of the
  5. Perhaps so but how it wasn't stipulated that he moved before then is bewildering. On match days and the lead up to them the club secretary is one of the most important people at any club.
  6. I know but the club secretary has to sent the paperwork through as he has the access card
  7. ok, Maybe he didn't moved to the area for the first 12 months for a range of different reasons, but maybe he has now given ParsonBlue's comments. If he is now at Brockhall then you got what you want
  8. We have been for ages. I thought Cantwell might have filled thst role.
  9. I suspect he didnt want to play him as much as he did but that season was a particularly bad one for penny pinching so he had no choice but to use the likes of Garrett, Markanday and Telalovic who where all nowhere near good enough.
  10. I think we're lacking a small tricky creative number 10 type. Someone who can take a shot on from range... An Ilias Chair type.
  11. Just not a normal football club. Those long standing employees that remember the BV era must have seen some serious drop in professionalism and basic standards .
  12. JDT going was probably the worst thing for Garrett. JDT was working with him, improving him
  13. Garrett is going to be like Willem Tomlinson. Looked ok when I saw him for Rovers, but his career has divebombed through the footballing pyramid.
  14. He was the first manager open enough to name-checked Suhail as the man to ask regarding the problems at the club. That was good enough for me.
  15. What a bizarre set of circumstances.
  16. That’s the market we’re shopping in under the Chicken Chokers. We aren’t going to looking at any player over Β£1 million. Even thst is unlikely.
  17. Because we have to think of the future too if we can get a midfielder in now and with one of or both trav/tronstad not renewing means we’re not chasing our tail (again) next summer
  18. At a Q&A in October last year Eustace said he had never even spoken to them let alone met them
  19. Forshaw was very good towards the end of the season at coming off the bench late on and calming the game down. The criticism of his game, as ever, is wildly exaggerated.
  20. Is it unrealistic though? We wanted 6 or 7 before Batth, Weimann and even Dolan left. Ismael has also said that this summer is more of a re build than we had planned. Also, even if we arent and it is a case of prioritising. I cant understand why people are prioritising another midfielder over more attacking options. Thats my main point.
  21. Par for the course. I reckon most people working for Rovers now have never met the owners.
  22. Simply not good enough. Couldn't even hack it at a lower level when out on loan. At 22, time to say goodbye.
  23. I think it's partly because most of us are realistic - we're simply not bringing in that many players so, as fans, we're prioritising.
  24. It's not a shame if they are not good enough for our first team.
  25. Another sub 6', slow CF? No thanks.
  26. Any reason Garrett hasn't been involved in pre season for the first team? Could he be off again?
