  1. Past hour
  2. Think everyone is getting a bit carried away after today. It's obviously good that they've put in a performance against a prem side but the championship is a totally different kettle of fish than a meaningless pre season friendly. Reserve your judgement after the first 90 mins of the season. Fingers crossed they over achieve again.
  3. Great result today. Toth our no1 GK again. I reckon he may start the season as no 1 now
  4. The point is I was making was a general point about central defenders around 30 not anybody in particular. I wasn't counting in fact Fans just don't get excited about them. We take them for granted--experienced,reliable and solid---like your favourite overcoat! I think this "discussion" has run its course.
  5. That’s fair. My jokes are worse than your counting.
  6. Just joking again? Give it up.
  7. Humphries and Aspinall both out. Could maybe have predicted that. Their opponents are both terrific young players. If they're on top form you've got a match on your hands.
  8. Today
  9. Usyk was terrific. 38 years old as well. Physically he 's a freak. One of the best of all time I'd say.
  10. Well I’m sooooooooo very sorry you keep getting everybody’s age wrong! Anyway, lighten up, I was only joking. Sheesh!
  11. Are you off your rocker? I've only been on the site for a few minutes! For the point I was making, the exact age doesn't matter. I'm saying a 30 years old centre-back signing doesn't create excitement. I could have put 30+ but does it matter? Go away and annoy someone else
  12. That’s even worse. He’s at least 34. You’ve had an an absolute shocker tonight, and that’s from a guy who thinks ‘on route’ is a thing.
  13. Starting to wonder if Carter can be relied upon at all. Can’t seem to stay fit. Really like the honest stance on Brittian. Vi clearly knows if he’s sold the money disappears so is in no rush to push him out.
  14. Given our spending levels and the calibre of the administration all that's really been proven today is that we're not utter chaotic dross destined to go down. Unless we get a bit of luck, once again we'll be nowhere near those Play Offs! Let's just be grateful given the situation behind the scenes that we're still solvent and able to field a competent, serviceable squad.
  15. If you look carefully I was responding to a post about Baath!
  16. You simply don't get excited about signing a 30 year old centre-back!! Its, as everybody agrees, a solid signing hardly the stuff of wet dreams!
  17. If it is baradji and we take the chance and he is fit n ready he plays anywhere across the middle can play cm can play off the left and right so would be more useful than most given his versatility
  18. Despite Cardiff and Wrexham interest he's obviously not good enough, but a 6ft 6 centre back busting step overs like the below would be a novelty worth taking up for the U21s if nothing else https://www.instagram.com/p/DL5BivgNI_5/?img_index=1&igsh=eGkwbDBnemNjYjhy
  19. You were right to correct me, ‘on route’ is an abomination. Gilsenan was the most hyped footballer we’ve ever had. I think he’s found his level at Grimsby.
  20. I think the 3 attacking players are more important certainly than central midfield. Number wise though, 6/7 turning to 8/9 hopefully is what we will get baring in mind 2 or 3 extra departures. And of course more if any one else important leaves.
  21. Usyk by KO it is. Skills beats power every time.
  22. Agree with the above but I think the carter injury and pending exit of Brittain has probably changed that (based on history in the market) hope I’m wrong though bit I can see a cb cm and rw anything beyond that will be a bonus tyjon going to be a part of the first team def need more just note sure we will get it in the summer window
  23. We pretty much know…that’s when the death spiral starts every year. Squad depth shows how thin it is
