  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah started very shaky, but hes done very well end of last season and today. Looks like he can handle the English game.
  3. If Pasha went in goal you'd say he was better than Pears. 🙂
  4. Angus Gunn also on the list. Wouldn’t be the worst shout if Pears leaves as a back up keeper.
  5. he`s a cheap replacement, big step up from st mirren to the english championship
  6. Whisper it quietly, but Toth looks like a competent GK.
  7. I'm not having that they're "a week behind". They've played as many games as we have.
  8. See Sam Barnes has joined the PFA pre season training thing. Assuming he’s been released from Barrow after not really featuring for them. Patrick Bauer also on there. I’m sure he’s one we were linked to many moons ago.
  9. I'll let you know when I've seen the new lad play. I like Brittain, but he's not a quick FB - nor is he a great defender. He gets exposed at times. Maybe the new lad offers us a different option?
  10. He's a decent player - has a big mistake in him each game, but he's committed to the cause.
  11. I know Everton are a week behind us in terms of preparation but that's not at all what I was expecting. In a good way.
  12. He might want workrate and pressing, but it completely neuters you when your CF doesn't win headers, hold the ball up or run in behind. We can't pass through everyone. Edit: Hedge is also a high work rate, pressing player - but he's shit at scoring or creating goals.
  13. Very good player. Extremely under-rated because he came through the ranks.
  14. Ismael clearly wants workrate and pressing from the front of the pitch which suits Yuki better. If you look at the good run at the end of the season, Gueye never got more than 20 minutes in any of those games.
  15. Think it's alright to be honest. I still think every one of our kits should be quartered - but that's marketing and we simply don't do that at Ewood Park.
  16. Ohashi isn't a target man type you seem to want but Ohashi is quality and he has shown it. Him and Cantwell suites each other. We aren't looking to play target man type football but looking to pass the ball more and created more. We actually look threatening from Set pieces
  17. There will he a huge weakness in this side when Brittain goes. For the new lad not to be even on the bench when not injured tells its own story. Good half though, front 4 have all worked really well and pressed well, lovely goal too.
  18. We can cautiously optimistic for the season overall. Yes we need some more signings before the window ends but we have good nuclear of a good championship squad. Need abit of quality and depth now
  19. I do agree he has been good considering his lay off.
  20. I thought we had the balance perfect at the start of last year - Gueye starts the match then Ohashi comes on from the 70th minute onwards and nips in against tired legs. Somehow he's the starter now - I just don't see him do enough to warrant it (and I do actually like him as a player, but he's a Solskjaer).
  21. Agreed. Obviously a good finisher but there is a fair bit lacking from his game.
