  1. Past hour
  2. More of the same isn’t it. Since 2010 we have had £6m invested in to infrastructure. That is the round sum of nothing for the size of the Rovers estate We we are seeing consequences at Ewood
  3. Sorry I don’t understand why fans would want us docked points that would almost certainly lead to relegation. Docking us points won’t lead to a change of ownership - or any other positive outcomes. A fine is appropriate
  4. Obviously a basic understanding of hydraulics is not something anyone possess down there.
  5. I would have thought that if the pressure of the water in the river, is greater than the pressure of the water in the drain, position or size of the outflow is irrelevant. Solution, fit a pump into the drainage system
  6. I do wonder if discussions between Rovers and the EFL had taken place following the Ipswich abandonment, regarding Rovers mitigating against this in future. Had any such discussion taken place, presumably The EFL would have had to accept our proposals, which failed spectacularly yesterday. In any case, I'd like to think The EFL would now be demanding Rovers properly invest in the infrastructure with works to be carried out at an appropriate time (the club would likely argue the summer for this). Failing to do so after that time would result in punishments. All depends on if any discussions have taken place. As much as I think the club deserves to be punished, it needs to be given an appropriate chance to rectify the problem.
  7. I'd gladly take administration, a 25 point deduction and certain relegation if it meant getting rid of the venky virus.
  8. Why not? We are a member of the EFL and our playing surface is unfit for purpose. We have been found sadly wanting twice within 3 months. Enough is enough. We should be heavily fined and docked points and I would support that.
  9. If nothing else, it's yet again, another spotlight on the poor ownership we're under to the wider footballing world. For years we just had the line of "WiThOuT vEnKy'S yOuS cOlLaPsE" well now the infrastructure is literally collapsing infront of us. It's dragging these clowns back under the spotlight and people are starting to look beyond the immediate issue, as noted by the Sheffield based Journalist in his article (posted in here by another poster) Their ownership is truly baffling, don't want to invest, attend or have any interest in the club whatsoever. And yet, they still won't sell.
  10. The only toxins at Ewood these days Vinjay are the Owners and their Henchmen willfully destroying us.
  11. Nixon news O'Riordan set to be recalled Pickering set to be loan out Gueye will be move on Looking for younger players and prepare to pay for them
  12. I am not saying that will happen. I am saying that we are more likely to have points deducted, than be given points as the previous poster suggested.
  13. Does not help either when the pitch sustains damage from exposure to poisonous toxins.
  14. I think we are about to witness Ewood's lowest League crowd since the Stadium was rebuilt come Tuesday night...another new record to be set under the hated Venkys.
  15. I’ve spent many an hour scratching my head trying to work out why they bother to continue owning the club and punishment and revenge towards the fans is one of the only explanations that makes any sense. It’s not just the snowball though, it’s the ongoing criticism of their ownership too. As pampered Billionaires they are probably not used to being called out and will see this as disrespectful. Especially coming from subordinates like us!
  16. Remember it well Parson unfortunately. Pitches were terrible in winter then (and into the 1990s - watch some of the title winning matches) but soil and grass technology has improved enormously since and there is no excuse for what is happening now. We’re the talk of football again - but this time for the wrong reasons. It’s embarrassing and very damaging for the club
  17. I imagine this line of thinking would be in line with highlighting the ownership issues to the FA/EFL/wider football world until it can no longer be ignored, and Venkys are "forced" to sod off, rather than just wanting to see their own club punished. Without a Sheff Wed/Chansiri style crash out, we look to be stuck with Venkys forever, & I imagine most would take the short term pain in exchange for being rid of them and having the chance to recover, as we will never succeed with this lot in charge & will continue to slowly sink at a pace which causes no real waves so can be ignored by the EFL/FA etc
  18. I realise that, I was merely emphasising my point that as a Rovers fan I find it odd that our own fans want points deduction or other severe punishment. As a repeat offender, I absolutely believe we should have to put up some guarantees for investment into the pitch for next season, possibly on top of a fine.
  19. and extra yellow cards/more chance of suspension to Alebiosu, Pratt & Forshaw, all of which still count
  20. Additionally, the coverage on TNT has been absolutely awful.
  21. Very rich people can hold a grudge for a long time over what poorer people consider a trifle.
  22. We've deserved everything coming this test. I've had enough of McCullum and Stokes, this righteous manner, we know best all the time. We can't grind out results and we often can't put games to bed when Infront. This has been a disastrous trip so far and unless there's a mindset change, it will continue.
  23. The EFL wont want to start a precedent so expect them to ask Rovers to commit to investing and installing a new modern football pitch. Drainage from the pitch is the problem cos it was drainage much even in the first half
  24. I'm abolishing this shite from my Sunday too many weekends of late been taken up by my murmurings about us being a laughing stock. VENKYS OUT PASHA OUT
  25. Today
  26. yep and our players basically suffer- it’s not fair for them to play more minutes than other teams, more risk of injury etc
