  1. Past hour
  2. Ismael knows his stock isn't high enough to take the high road. He won't have any decent offers like Tomasson or Eustace if he decided to walk right now, so he's toeing the line, just like Kean did when he said Nelsen's knee didn't feel right, then he miraculously started for Spurs a week later.
  3. Captain Donkey and his donkey subs have cost us yet again. Made a triple substitution on Weds against QPR with a third of the game left. We immediately conceded a goal and barely threatened ourselves afterwards. Was a while back but I seem to remember the exact same happening against Sheff Utd. Made his subs today with a third of the game left, we suddenly stopped offering any attacking threat whatsoever and camped in our own half until Wrexham scored. Yes the squad is paper thin and the bench stinks the place out, but that's all partly his fault, alongside his pals Gestede and Pasha. He's clueless. I can only remember his subs having a positive impact once, 9 times out of 10 they make us much worse. He's a dud.
  4. Read his quotes in the LT mate,Vi is basically blaming him for not being mentally ready to come back from an injury- sounds like absolute BS and what we have heard before, TC will be shipped out like the others who either earned too much or spoke the truth about the shoddy coaching and mis management- Montgomery now injured for a min of 5 weeks!! What are they training on, nails? How has this club managed to get so many injuries
  5. What an unforgiving league this is. I think most of us would have taken a point before kick off but to concede so late, again, is a real hammer blow. Being more clinical with our chances, we could so easily have picked up 5 extra points this week and be going into the Ipswich game in hand, with thoughts of really pushing on to catch the behemoths of Millwall, Knob End and Hull. As it is, we could now be soon slipping back into the bottom three. Unless we can turn around the Ewood form, we are facing a real relegation battle.
  6. Couldn't agree more. The guy's an absolute disgrace. What's happening with Cantwell again?
  7. Pickering was signed a a league 1 player, but was given a new contract 3 years (and 2 Championship top 10 finishes) later under Broughton before the taps were turned off (same time as Adam Wharton & Szmodics contracts were extended). He will be above or around the current wage cap, similar story Pears Ribeiro probably signed with that in mind, as a cheaper alternative Cost was probably also the primary reason for why Pratt was originally in the team ahead of both, albeit he has worked out
  8. Ribeiro was signed under Gestede and Pickering was a L1 player. They just don't fit the system - it's really not that hard.
  9. Agree with above totally miss Dolan I am pleased for the lad that he is doing well another one we let go for free under this regime and another one we replaced with less quality Insane that the mere conversation is dividing fans when the real problem is not the fans
  10. Conceding so late is one of the worst feelings in football and it seems to happen to us far too frequently. The criticism on Weds was justified as we were absolutely abysmal. Today they did well and a point at Wrexham is a damn good point considering the money they have spent and their home form (beating Cov!). The degree of criticism seems unfair though this evening. Of course Mistakes were made but there invariably is when a goal is conceded and hindsight always provides opportunities to say things should have been done differently. The truth is that the squad is of appalling quality and depth and we have multiple injuries to key players. The bench is the weakest I’ve seen at this level and the players have 3 matches in a week so subs will need to be made. We all know that this is the result of our feckless billionaire owners and their sickening stooges and they should receive all the ire. The players on the other hand put in a decent shift and actually gained a valuable point in a match we should lose convincingly (if you compare the two sides).
  11. Seen his latest claims about Tod Cantwell? The guy is a joke he is just as bad as them lot no doubt Tod is off in Jan and will be fit and ready for the first team wherever he goes next also he never explains why he doesn’t play Pickering..:
  12. From the moment the subs started to be made.
  13. Flu bug sweeping through the camp apparently I heard.
  14. It’ll be luck that sends us down this season if it does happen, won’t it, Val?
  15. Just a mouth piece for them lot Terrible subs terrible game Management blaming cantwell for not being mentally ready !! Joke he won’t go because he is a yes man we have conceded 5 goals after 90mins already this season- that is too consistent, it’s about game management
  16. Absolutely I can't disagree, but we'll just continue to get clowns like this with Venkys and their shysters in place
  17. The problem is Wrexham aren’t world beaters obviously but a point away from home is more often than not a decent result however we are that woeful at home that away games become our biggest hope for wins! A very odd situation
  18. We clearly arent, sat in 18th. We heard the same shite throughout the season we nearly went down as other teams benefitted from our inability to manage games.
  19. Ismael is the disgrace here. Stop blaming the ref. Everyone could see the equalizer coming.
  20. So pissed off that we threw that away and not at the ref who now becomes the latest excuse. The issue as flagged up previously is the state of the squad. And this is not because of some unfortunate woe is me injury crisis. The players being brought on are players that Gestede has signed, mainly this summer just gone, and they are terrible. They dont have any game management skills (or redeeming features at all). Its going to be a long season.
  21. I think they send them there because they are guaranteed games and there's an easy automatic recall option that you might not get with a league club.
  22. VI on Cantwell “He's frustrated because he's still feeling something. He can train with consistency but he still feels something. “Toddy is a player who needs to be right in his mind. I told him, ‘You to be 100 per cent and not 80 per cent and thinking about your injury’. That’s why it takes too long. blame the player is it!! sounds like BS sounds like something the club have put out before VI proving he is just another yes man for the club, won’t play Pickering, now this! joke
  23. Will be more like the fateful 'Charge of the Light Brigade' at Balaklava! A game we failed to win simply through not taking our chances and abysmal game management. IMO, Ismael should take the blame - he manages the game, makes the tactical changes and instructs those players coming on as substitutes. Think it's crystal clear De Neve has very, very limited football intelligence and introducing him when you need to close a game down is akin to pouring petrol on to smouldering embers. As for Hedges, a diabolical challenge given all his experience. Think Ismael, again, failed miserably with his game management - a very poor head coach. Can anyone articulate we are a serious football club and merely not a p1ss take? The Cantwell saga stinks to high heaven in my eyes whilst the continuing non use of Pickering and Ribeiro is I think unbelievably mystifying and somewhat sinister. God help us both on Tuesday, when Ipswich roll into town, and for the rest of the season. I think we are in deep trouble and heading for the drop.
  24. Chorley fan was takibg the mick saying that's the second player you've nicked from us. I'll like his confidence and the fact that he was shipped out (foolish rudy) to a NL2 club for play time but he's proving he can do it at this level.
  25. Just before I looked at the final s ore I thought I bet there got a late goal again, and low and beyond there did oh well I point is better then none
