  1. Past hour
  2. The problem is that it isn’t particularly awful weather. It’s just typical winter up north weather.
  3. We obviously are where we are as half way through the season and I expect, as always, they’ll just try and muddle through (and hope that rare metrological phenomenon ‘rain’ holds off on match days). But do they deserve all the opprobrium that comes their way in the meantime? Yes.
  4. I did have a look at going today but they play out in the back of beyond near Emley Moor and I don't drive so that put paid to that. Hopefully get to see them at Stockport in January.
  5. The Ewood brain trust will have had their heads together coming up with an official party line and appropriate direction for the blame to be passed. My money is on it being Waggott’s fault for stitching the pitch prior to last season. I can’t believe any of our fans are calling for a points deduction. Not only do we need as many points as we can get, why would anyone think this would remotely bother anyone at the club apart from us fans? The accumulation of points on the pitch is far from the top of the clubs list of priorities. If he was given a choice between a 10 point deduction and a £100,000 fine, which do you think Suhail would opt for? It wouldn’t be the same choice you’d make.
  6. Given the current situation and the awful weather we are having what do you expect to happen? Postpone all home games? Play them all away? I believe It was known that a full pitch rebuild was not done when the stitch pitch was laid presumably for cost reasons. The current situation is not ideal and needs addressing but that will have to be done in the summer. Of course we aren’t happy with the owners and stooges but it’s not going to get them out of the club I’m afraid
  7. You seem very invested in this Liverpool team.
  8. Surprising, if true. Then again, this lot can find the money when it suits. 20k a week for Fleck supposedly. 20k a week for Dennis. We can sign proper players on that money. They choose not to. A project wish of a biscuit and orange juice seller who knows nothing about football. He wants to develop players though. Yeah. Sure.
  9. Snip from Guardian report: "The imperious Adam Wharton was the architect of the opening goal when he picked out Tyrick Mitchell on the left before the England midfielder eventually played in Nketiah, whose crisp finish left Bernd Leno flailing at thin air."
  10. I attend and I’m happy to criticise ‘the club’ as those running and owning it deserve it, and there’s no issue in those that don’t go doing the same. Nothing unfortunate about it and it has got to the stage where it feels like they are embarrassing this grand old institution on what seems like a weekly basis.
  11. The biggest concern is for the fans who are turning up in atrocious weather to cheer the team on and having to trudge home (some long distances) in the same conditions. They deserve medals. Those who don’t attend matches really don’t have a clue how it feels but guess they are happy to criticise the club in this unfortunate situation. I pray that our luck (and the weather) changes soon and we begin to get the results that some of our performances deserve.
  12. 'Please cut out...' I doubt that part will be mentioned, Rev.
  13. Dolan sent off for two yellows tonight. Second is a shocking dive by the opposition player.
  14. Ahahaha surprised my sarcastic brain didn't think of that one 😆😆
  15. Pitch directly behind the changing rooms is the worse pitch to play on in my experience
  16. Well Clearly I can given I was at the games. Oh well Mike. Dont worry about it
  17. Today
  18. So why mention if not for January window given the thread title The squad was set for different formation and it wouldn't surprise me if we return to it at some point.. When you signed so many non championship experience you expect to be lower tho a number of signings have been good-decent signings. Some haven't. Don't agree on your last point
  19. Actually, opinions do need justifying. That’s how you gain or lose credibility.
  20. I agree on the owners. But the bigger worry for me is the people actually left in charge of running the club locally. Amateurs and non-football people trying to run a club of Rovers' stature. We've been seeing the impact of this over the years, but we're now at the stage where games are being abandoned due to a lack of action/knowledge/experience/lack of willing to spend money on anything to do with the upkeep of the facilities.
  21. You clearly can’t, if your memory is making you disagree with a fact.
  22. I've heard the group "Talking Heads" but this is "Silent Heads"
  23. They tried to solve it by bolting on a lump of pipe in direction of the river flow. That sums up everything that happens at this club on and off the pitch and why we are the joke outfit we are. All leads back to 4 people via one man.
