  1. Past hour
  2. I disagree.. if he is getting first team games he will sign up. Issue with Ash Phillips was he only got a few token games here or there. If hed been given a regular start he would have signed imo. Im not saying Phillips was worth playing as a first team regular, just that a scholar who gets first team games is going to sign. Same for Tyjon. Creates a strange incentive where shakier players are getting games just because they are worth more when eventually sold. But that is where we are.
  3. We are not in a position to have people who are going to be players. We need players now.
  4. Perhaps - he's miles off this standard at the moment though. I gather he's RB? Which explains why he looks a bit lost playing on the wing.
  5. I’d associate Burnley more with Revelations. I bet no one expected this thread would take a biblical turn 😁😁
  6. Basically - which then begs the question why would you waste your time watching really shit men's football? I only watch England play these days - and I used to watch that Bronze / Bardsley / Houghton City team most home games back in the day.
  7. M&M is going to be a player. Pity we aren't blessed with patience as a club.
  8. The advance of ‘professionalism’ I guess.
  9. Something annoyed me the other day (can’t remember the match) and it’s annoyed me again tonight - the entire subs bench joining in a goal celebration.
  10. Has done for a while, unfortunately. I used to enjoy watching City women play because the game was so honest. Diving and screaming all over the place now - which takes away it's USP from the men's game.
  11. Deary me that's shit defending.
  12. Wandering around the wilderness (Burnley).
  13. Everyone in Spain. Be a couple of weeks before anyone can edit them.
  14. If you're diabetic and fancy am alcohol free beer, check to see how much sugar is in it. It caught my dad out before he looked.
  15. It's very difficult to give match ratings - we were far better than Qatar SC, especially when the subs were made. Nobody had a bad game, nobody really looked out of place (I still don't think Mullarkey-Matthews has much going on, but he's very young). Tyjon continues to impress in the #10 role.
  16. tyjon definately ready for some 1st team minutes imo
  17. I thought Alebiosu looked incredibly athletic and would pose different problems for the opposition to Brittain. Clearly far bigger, faster and aggressive in defence (tried to nip in front of his man for the ball a few times).
  18. He left and took everyone else with him.
  19. Three points stood out for me in 2nd half: Cantwell continued his endeavours from 1st half and looked 'at it' - far hungrier than we saw him last season Tyjon clearly has a football intelligence to go with his ability and if we manage to keep him, will make a big contribution this coming season If/when Brittain goes, we will need a replacement right back. Think Alebioso looked raw and clumsy
  20. I see overacting is creeping into the women’s game.
  21. it`s full of genuine rovers fans who give their honest opinion, you should join the facebook happy clappers,i think that will be more your scene
  22. Came off the bench for the U21s a couple of weeks ago, not sure if he played vs Tranmere this weekend as there have been no team sheets that I've seen
