  1. Past hour
  2. Wasn't he a starting cb when hull finished 3 points outside the playoffs? Thought Rosenior had them playing good footie that season too
  3. Wish they'd stop making the new guys pose with a bunch of red roses, looks a little porno-pervy to me. Louche even. Maybe better to portray them with rabid aggression with veins and flesh hanging from their teeth. But what do I know.
  4. No disrespect to him but its a downgrade on Batth for me. One plus is he managed 36 games last season and looks to have a pretty clean injury history, which we definitely need....
  5. the top six to venkys is akin to a gammon steak in a mosque
  6. Decent squad signing. I suspect he will be a level above Dion Sanderson, but not sure he’s first choice if top 6 is your aim.
  7. is this the end of the "significent" investment!!!!!!!!!!think we definately need another c/f and a midfielder
  8. It was probably originally a 3 or 4 years (with an option) and a higher wage, and then once he had arrived here & done his medical, they changed the offer and did a deal, lower wage, but shorter contract, same as what happened with Kargbo
  9. This is my gripe (on another thread, β€œdoes the club care?”)… Go to EvertonFC.com, they have a wonderful gameday blog. Complete with pics of Ewood & commentary. So, I will have to follow our club, at Ewood, on Everton’s blog?!? πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
  10. I agree, but Venky's are always behind the curve when it comes to Football. Probably still seething from Best, Murphy and Etuhu.
  11. 30 is nothing in the modern game, physio and modern methods of recovery are a lot bettern than in the past, when the recovery process was a pint or 5 in the players lounge,im`e surprised he signed at all tbh,the lad must have been desperate to get away from hull
  12. Still no news about yearly pass?
  13. Shows we need two(as a bare minimum)extra central defenders as Carter & Wharton are always injured or unavailable. Lets hope McLoughlin takes one of the slots. What happens if Hyam gets injured or sent-off?(Sent-off somewhat unlikely I know!!) He is rather a unique players for Rovers in completing so many games!
  14. Still no reply… from either email address. I guess I will have to follow the game on Everton’s game centre.
  15. He'll be 30 by the time that 2 years is done. The club only offer 1 year contracts to players over 30 (hence the 1 year option), I'm sure I read that somewhere.
  16. It'll be a 3 year deal. We love a kick the can down the road option. Imagine the state of the squad in two years time we'll have no choice but to activate it.
  17. McLoughlin is an experienced Championship centre half for a position where we need experience. I can't remember seeing him him play too much but that might be a good thing. If he is as efficient and understated as Batth he will do for me.
  18. very smart signing mclauglin, though i have no idea why it`s only 2 years????????is this bizarre contract dealings the reason why travis, sonny, brittain and dolan hav`nt been offered one/turned one down,i.e they want longer deals
  19. Good sensible and solid signing. Happy with that one
  20. That's because other teams have used loans to boost their chances of promotion while we have no such ambition.
  21. We're the anti-chelsea. Instead of massively long contracts we give stupidly short ones
  22. Solid signing! The response from hull fans on their X page says everything you need to know.
