  1. Past hour
  2. They tried to solve it by bolting on a lump of pipe in direction of the river flow. That sums up everything that happens at this club on and off the pitch and why we are the joke outfit we are. All leads back to 4 people via one man.
  3. I firmly believe that the owners have absolutely zero interest or knowledge in what is going on at the Club on a day-to-day basis and their little goon in the shadows is quite comfortable with that and running things as his own kingdom in their absence. I would be amazed if any of the owners were aware we were playing yesterday, or that the game was abandoned, and much less that this is a direct result of their conduct over many years. IF the club was to be fined by the League for this then all that will happen is the henchmen from the finance team and Suhail will have to juggle the numbers again, probably cut the transfer budget or wage bill or offload a player in January to cover it from the club's own resources. Owners won't find out about it. No way is he going to ring them up and ask them to cough up extra cash. On it goes.
  4. Getting there.... Slowly but surely we will get a point. Admire anyone that goes and even more the players.
  5. An away tie. We've got a better chance of winning away from home. Plus at Ewood the game might not start/finish and we can ill afford more postponements and embarrassment.
  6. £17,000 for covers used for cricket (they should be fine?) This would cover an area 100x90metres.
  7. Owners are going to have to solve the problem. I assume the EFL could impose a hefty fine, if we have anymore suspensions/abandonments?
  8. Im not saying specific to January. I am saying thats how much work needs doing, as a minimum. Its obviously not ideal that the squad is so imbalanced and has so many poor players. Hence why we are so much lower in the table. Obviously some will work out and some wont, the issue is that so many not only havent worked out but they are so bad.
  9. would cost a fortune to cover the whole pitch, pasha would probably faint if he got the quote😷 nothing short of investment in the pitch and drainage will solve the issue,as it`s midseason there is`nt a chance that will happen at the moment, better stand by and watch us get fined or ordered to move the game if it carries on,imo we are a professional club in name only,it`s an amateurish merry go round behind the scenes, bloody chorley are better run than we are, they never run out of pies either and they`ve got sky sports in the clubhouse
  10. Given what allegedly happened in summer, so was he.
  11. Just the 3-2 loss away at Huddersfield Town Women today. 59 in attendance apparently.
  12. Today
  13. Gutted for the lad but of course, a rare ray of sunshine for us.
  14. Manchester United at Ewood please
  15. Yet again, you are talking about 7 or 8 signings in January. Is that really ideal? No. You want to add 3 or 4 new players. Gestede signings? Do we know this has a fact then? Should work out and some wont. Ismael push for some and im sure other people did
  16. Obviously what I think we need is not what we will get it. It never is. But the change of formation, gaps in summer recruitment and a number of Gestede signings being incapable of even to contribute as squad players means that the squad needs a lot of work doing to it. Its little surprise we arent far from the bottom 3 and once the squad is tested further it will likely get worse.
  17. I take it you weren’t “ entertained “ then ? Chaddy and Gav will be along shortly to tell us how we don’t understand modern Test Match cricket !
  18. So free, out of principal and understanding the fans. Will never happen with this lot. Take everything from us and give us fevk all in return I don't know why we bother
  19. 3 or 4 signings in January is what we need. Not what you are after which is around double that. Mentioned the right wing back position first on here as January addition You arent going to get rid of new signings after 6 months. Time to judge is the summer and whether to keep or sell not now. Knows Ismael from Barnsley days. Could be low cost signing if he can stay fit.
  20. In fairness, I don't remember anyone being unfairly critical of him. He's just made proportionately huge - costly - mistakes in important games for us, pointing to a lack of general competence as a number 1 goalkeeper at this level. Just take the single error against Sheffield at home last/previous season in isolation; no professional GK should be making that mistake. And he's rightly criticised for that.
  21. Aye, also 5 min down the road I knew yesterday morning it's wasn't gonna be happening for us down there
