We're the anti-chelsea. Instead of massively long contracts we give stupidly short ones -

I recall the lady Roa when they took over saying something like 'in business nine out of ten decisions have to be right'. I'm honestly struggling to get one in minutes from them regarding Rovers. -

Please can someone wake me up when they start taking these better decisions? Ta. -

Could you point out which one decided not to have reversed halves for the home kit? I'd like to slap them. -

Could play Pickering there as a stop gap for a friendly, and give Batty some minutes when Riberio tires. -

Just need to make sure we've enough stock then and we aren't turning people away including those with infants looking to buy the away/third strip.... -
Championship Season 25-26

Yes so we're heading into the season with one striker who has a track record of scoring goals. If he gets kicked after 10 mins and is out injured for weeks or months, we're absolutely stuffed. - Today

It will be interesting who starts alongside Hyam today. Wharton's still being nursed back and Carter is lame again. At some stage either Atcheson, Pratt or Litherland will probably play. -

How is it possible for rovers not to provide streaming when the away side does? Baffling. -

Exactly. And to be marketable they invariably have to be different which ours certainly are. -

The strong starts are now absolutely vital for this club to prevent us fighting at the wrong end all second half of the season. Forget play offs if we hadn't had such good first halves to the last few years it's almost guaranteed we'd have dropped, promotion doesn't come into it. This is Venky Rovers, we need to be 3rd at Christmas just to make sure we don't go down by May !!!! -
He is. My granddaughter was at the same school as him and it was their sports presentation night recently. He was presented with several awards mostly for his athletic prowess in various disciplines. I know the club have really high hopes for him.

Jordan Rhodes - £8 million sold for c£11 million - Consistent reliable top goal scorer. Adam Armstrong - £1.75 rising to £3 million - Sharp young prospect scored goals and developed here - sold for double figures. Brereton - £6/7 million - Prospect took a long time to develop but showed his potential and SHOULD have fetched double figures. Szmodics - £2 million - Good lower league prospect found his feet here and kept us up almost on his own - Sold for 4 or 5 times the fee. Danny Graham - Free transfer, big wages - Reliable strong centre forward played a big part in promotion and res-establishing club. There are more but the point is you DO have to invest good money regularly if you want to resell for big bucks and reap the benefits in between. -
That's how I categorise Leonard due to his lack of height / pace. He'll have to play as a 10 (pushing on past the CF) or as a hard working L/RW as a 'playmaker' type. He has good movement / a good feel for the game too - albeit I wish his finishing was better.

I did like the interview directly after the Stanley game,it felt right to me. I quite like him, let's hope we can start the way we finished last season. -
Turns 17 on January 12th, so could tie him down for 3 years from then. I'd like to think a pro deal is there waiting to be signed, along with Eze who turns 17 in September. Saying that though Tyjon still hasn't signed despite allegedly having a pro contract on offer since March.

Clarkson didn't do much with us, but I wouldn't be against bringing him back. Done pretty decent at Aberdeen, still young and he's a fan of the club. -

Loaning players only make sense if you're pushing for promotion or staving off relegation. Why develop a player from Liverpool if the plan is to just sit comfortably in mid table?
