I’d go as far as saying we desperatly need to win this. Brilliant finish from Gudjohnsen and another good half away from home. Can only echo you other posters as to why it keeps happening, but we truly are a weird team aren’t we? We have to be every gamblers nightmare. Now…..don’t ruin this with stupid subs. The way things are going we desperatly need these 3 points. COYB!!

As it stands we’re bottom of the home table and 2nd in the away one.

Results not currently going well elsewhere, so another away win would be very pleasing.

The squad is geared to press and counter teams away from home who try to play a bit of football. When the onus is on at home the players nor tactics seem suited to it they are lost.

Can’t fault anything there really. Seem to really enjoy pressing and winning the ball back. Some excellent anticipation on display with the interceptions and seem willing to fight for the ball. Think Ismael has a lot of work to do on the home “philosophy” because these players can play this style well. Their keeper hasn’t looked comfortable any time I’ve seen him, need to ask more questions of him than we have so far.

Good first half better than the first at preston. Just need ohashi morishita to link a bit better been on top of each other at some points, but good half, Hedges doing well down this side. Considering our team that was about as good of a half as we could have realistically hoped for. Dom and his boys have been absolutely dire, but probably not likely they'll be that bad in the second half.

Yeah he absolutely can't run anymore - you see teams easily taking him out of the defence with simple passes, but he clearly still has a football brain and likes to keep possession. Can do a job in this formation.
