According to an Oxford Messageboard about 10 minutes ago, the stewards on the coaches have been told the game is on.

They are just incompetent, they just don’t want to admit that there is anything out of the ordinary going on and hence, the radio silence. As far as they are concerned, the line is we have just been unlucky with the weather and so this Oxford match is just business as normal ! I’m really hoping it is called off, with everything going on off the pitch and the injury situation, we could do with a postponement finally going in our favour.

There is an air of arrogance around Rovers under Rudy Gestede and Pasha. Waggott was a bit of a cock who lacked ambition but was a canny operator. He'd have been all over it today letting us know the game was safe and get down. It comes to something when you start to feel like you miss a Steve Waggott type..

Game goes ahead and Oxford win - I can feel the pain now. Postpone it and get the injured players sorted instead.
