  1. Past hour
  2. So the club are loaning Pickering out and selling Gueye to “reduce the wage bill” and will spend a bit on “younger players” see the club still haven’t learnt from mistakes..
  3. A fine gesture towards fans who attended yesterday (including Sheffield Wednesday) would be free entry for the replay and half price for everyone else. What odds above nil are there of that happening?
  4. This week has proven the EFL were correct not to give us the win vs Ipswich, we’ve shown how utterly abject we are at seeing out games and then the farce yesterday emphasised that we are not learning. I’m told the rollers weren’t on at half time? Why not? Why didn’t we have more?
  5. I'm not going to the rematch. Should all make a stand. So instead of them earning more money from one game. They can lose out. And hopefully pick up a fine for not providing an adequate pitch for a championship fixture.
  6. Can he borrow your red devil and lung cancer shirt too?
  7. Pay for their rearranged tickets, travel, expenses. Don't buy a ticket yourself. See if we can get Wednesday fans chanting Venkys out etc.
  8. He’s been fine enough, made some decent saves and nothing howling that’s led to a goal, got away with a couple at Preston but didn’t cost us
  9. Start today for James Edmondson in the FA Cup, Game is live on TNT Sports 1, 12:30 kick off Edmondson - score/update
  10. Could we show good faith and fund raise for them?
  11. How much of that is true if its completely submerged?
  12. This needs raising with SW fans on their forum. The football community supported them in their hour of need. Hopefully they'll be happy to repay the favour to another club in trouble.
  13. This game puts a lot of pressure on the gaffer and the players. I hope they’re up for this and show strong mental resilience to get the much needed home win.
  14. The best form of protest is just leaving these idiots to it. Making fools of themselves just that bit more with every passing day.
  15. I wonder if the ground being close to the river, has anything to do with the saturated pitch. We need to have a serious discussion in the Summer, and sort some decent drainage system out at Ewood. We've been warned about the abandonment and waterlogged pitch.
  16. Well timed propaganda. Well, of sorts. Recalling O'Riordan alone would certainly not be a sufficient replacement for Hyam nor solve our defensive vulnerability. They would presumably sign young players purely to further limit the wage budget as its not what we need.
  17. No rain at all tomorrow, and then a bit Tuesday morning with it being clear from 11am. It won't even be in, or enter anybodies thoughts until around 6pm Tuesday night.
  18. About 630pm tomorrow I think.
  19. What time is the draw?
  20. I'm pretty certain they do, can't have it one way and not the other.
  21. To be honest, if what Chaddy has posted is what Nixon is claiming, then none of that would be a surprise. The surprise would be if they were prepared to pay more than a few £100K for each of these younger players. I expect more low priced foreign punts like Alebiosu & De Neve, which may or may not work out
  22. They werent, the pitch wasnt quite as bad as v Ipswich but was still unplayable and would have got worse. After the Ipswich game, you echoed the club that there was nothing we could do and it wasnt our fault. It was bullshit at the time but a second abandonment seems to have turned those defending the club last time into criticising the club which is at least one small positive. The club and the owners deserve the blame so fair play for not sticking to your guns.
  23. I’m hoping it is called off, we have a severely depleted squad and another postponement, even a pre-emptive one, will increase the pressure and highlight the issues at our club.
  24. Didn’t strengthen their squad? They spent £450 Million in the summer 😅.
  25. Move it to the Wham Stadium, should be enough space for everyone who would attend Ewood and we know that the game can both start and finish there. Matchday experience would be an upgrade too - easier to park, better priced food and drink, sound system
  26. Good uk times for England kick offs 9pm 9pm 10pm
