Covering just the centre of the pitch where most play occurs would help even if you can't afford more than one for the wings. Rain is forecastable days ahead. Covering the ground beforehand to stop the turf being totally saturated gives it the capacity to soak up 90 minutes worth of rain on the day. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! It's to absolutely chuck it down in Blackburn from 02:00 Tuesday morning for 8 hours followed by lighter rain. The club will not want the embarrassment of a 3rd abandonment in a matter of weeks and given the distance involved with Oxford, I think the game will be postponed pre lunch. I think we are a club in a race to the bottom both literally and metaphorically. Sad times for a once great club.
