Had a yellow 'severe' weather warning earlier today, for Tuesday (I live within a mile of Ewood). The club can't say they weren't forewarned, absolutely no excuses.

The reaction will be 'but Suhail said it needn't cost any money because we are getting 2 games income for every one match now'. -

He's trying to justify his original opinion that the Ipswich game should have finished and his attributing of the blame on the ref and Mckenna despite clearly being wrong. Especially in the light of the latest postponement. -

Rovers's January transfer needs
roversfan99 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We need far more than that. A Tronstad replacment 6 months in advance is not as important as other positions. We have no depth at right wing back, or at left wing back. We are 2 strikers short too. But we really need to properly bolster centre back aswell. Plus there are hangers on including Gueye but also De Neve, Henriksson and Tavares amongst others that should be shifted as soon as we can convince a gullible team to take them. None of them are useful in any way. Andersen would be good company for Carter in the physio room. I dont think the issue is confidence. The issue is a total lack of ability and effort. That West Brom game is very much a one off. Hes not good at anything. -

Along with new owners, CEO, Director of Football, Head Coach and at least half a squad. Apart from that - it's all good. -

Anything official from the club yet on the postponement, the pitch etc? Nothing yet from the Head of Operations, Head Coach, Head of Football Operations, Head of Football Administration, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Media and Communications and Chief Executive Officer – oh, no, not the last one, we haven’t got one. -

I'll trudge down LBR as usual. But such is my peed-off-ness over yesterday, I really don't care much if we win, lose, or draw -

A pitch that works would be nice. -
That peace award trophy is horrendous, aside from all the other nonsense. It looks like a prop from a movie like Manos: The Hands of Fate. It shows how childish, senile and tasteless Trump is.

I don't understand why you're wasting effort trying to argue which pitch was worst, the Ipswich one or the one yesterday. The fact remains that both pitches were unplayable, and people with far more knowledge than the likes of you or I made those calls. The fact also remains that it's our so-called owners and execs who are responsible for these embarassments. Energy would be better spent directing ire in that direction. -

He looked pretty useful initially before getting himself sent off against Burnley and also looked fairly good for a period around"that" West Brom game during which he showed what he is actually capable of. I can't see any hope for him under Ismael. Seems to be a confidence player. Ismael obviously doesn't rate him and the player knows it. He's been relegated to bit part cameos and is performing accordingly. -

Exactly. 'The specialist also worked for Man City and Man Utd, Madam. We found one of the best in the business at our end, Madam. But sadly, the rain...' I'm interested in knowing what the reaction, if any, has been like in Pune today. Maybe Glen has heard something on that. -

Being available for selection isnt a particularly high bar although it's preferable to always being injured, granted. Id prefer the Batth of last season to Hyam any time. -

Blurted out in the media by agent shill Nixon just in case Pune is looking for someone to blame. 'But but Mr D we did all we could it's just the Blackburn micro climate and Glen Mullen messing with the weather' -
