  1. Past hour
  2. This is why I could never be critical of anybody who is involved with any fans forum or liason groups. They deserve a bloody medal for turning up and trying to liase and have dialogue with the morons running the club.
  3. I really like the shirt and I think I'll be buying one for the first time in a few seasons. I just hope they have another, more retro, shirt that they wear for the home match closest to the 150th anniversary date. Would probably get that one too tbf.
  4. No reversed halves tell me that there is everything wrong with it. Thick as mince this lot.
  5. Problem is we have had 15 years of being run down, with no end in sight. Oldham, will overtake us within 3 years unless something changes here..
  6. The collar is nice, bit of a late 60s look. It's not awful, not as good as last year's. Still looks like a template kit from a catalogue though and the sponsor too big. I hope it won't be the ACTUAL commerative anniversary shirt. It's absolutely nothing to get excited about it's meh, a very disappointing lack of detailing for the 150 years from that video.
  7. The halves aren't reversed on the back therefore it's not the traditional colours. It's not as bad as some of the abominations.over the years but it's still gash. It's actually quite fitting for a 15th anniversary shirt in that regard. BRFC 1875 - 2010 R.I.P

  9. Agree that as a 150th kit it's nothing special, but it is a nice home kit for any other year, and I like Macron, our home kit this past year was one of my favs in at least the past 15 years... Really hope they release a proper anniversary kit however, especially since they have teases the Maltese cross.
  10. The club put effort into 125 as it was a club still in Jack’s image with John Williams and Tom Finn at the fore. They got it as they got the club. 25 years on, just look at the state of the place.
  11. Had another look this morning, retract my earlier thoughts. It's not terrible. IF they are planning on a 150th specific shirt then will accept this as the home kit (damn no reversed halves grrr) and wait to see what they thought up for the special kit. I like the Port Vale one posted earlier up the thread. A really homage to earlier times and looks pretty sleek too. Definitely think there ought to be a 150s Suite rebrand somewhere in the stadium, and a new range of clothing hopefully nicer than what we currently house at the minute.
  12. Very disappointed to see the leak and it's unacceptable. It's spoils the good PR and tonight's evening event for STH. I will be buying the shirt and very proud to wear my Rovers colours anywhere. COYB!!!
  13. It was during a Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield United match in 2002. I gave a free kick to SU and Carl Asaba wanted to take it quickly and I was caught out of position. He wellied it and caught me flush on the forehead - much to the amusement of thousands in the stadium and watching on Sky 😂. I was literally seeing stars but recovered to put in a faultless performance 😂. Carl told me it was an accident but was smiling as he said it. 😉
  14. Totally Gold remembers the 1994/5 season…
  15. No one will be more disappointed than Chaddy. He was looking forward to seeing the kit before anyone else today and it's just been leaked on here.
  16. Agree, quite like the v neck with reversed colors. Just that horrible Venky sticker on the arm makes me physically sick.
  17. There's some very bitter people on this forum
  18. Yesterday
  19. I never had a problem with Greg Broughton. Thought he did well enough.
  20. Hull had their 120th anniversary last year and released this beauty in commemoration. That's Hull City, 120th anniversary. Nothing like Blackburn Rovers' 150th anniversary, a far bigger occasion and more successful club, yet they made the effort. A unique strip, with a special badge to show everyone what it was all about. They also released a whole range of other gear - t-shirts, tracksuit tops etc. in the same range. Made a load of money out of it and had to order more in. I'd hoped that at the very least we'd be able to manage something similar here. Seems not. Effort....something money can't buy. You can either be bothered or you can't.
  21. The kit is nice but they usually are however it isn't radical or much of a tribute to anything it's just bog standard stuff. Typical of the lack of real punch in anything they do down there and just smacks of going through the motions again.
  22. It's so obvious. The same tactics time and time again. Pathetic that anyone would fall for it to be honest.
  23. I quite like the shirt but no reversed halves is a no-no for me, so sorry but I won’t be buying one. It’s dismal that they can’t get anything right.
  24. I was really looking forward to seeing this kit and I'm really underwhelmed. Last season's shirt is miles better. I might be tempted if they somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat for a one-off shirt like they did in 2000, but I ain't buying this one. Port Vale are also celebrating 150 years. A small but proud club, this is their anniversary shirt. Much better than ours.
  25. No Board of Directors No Chief Executive No Business Plan No Commercial income No Vision No effin Idea how to run a Limited Company serving its Community.....end of oh.....no surprise
  26. They are having talks on a Contract extension, as reported by Eliot Jackson. Just hope they dont feature on the 2026 Christmas/New Year Calendar.
