  1. Past hour
  2. Heavy ground plus too many games in too short a period = hamstrings. Good job we have a huge squad of top players (not). Balancing all considerations a 14:00 postponement is the best outcome for us. The rest day won't come amiss for tired legs. Live to fight another day.
  3. Would be so much better for the fans and players if they just called it now let those who are working and doing their day jobs know in advance to prevent them arriving to find out it’s being abandoned after 15mins or whatever
  4. As if I’d have anything better to do😁😁 Years 6-10 average £12.46 million Years 11-15 average £9.05 million As an aside: Years 6-10 is nearly entirely (95%) an increase in debt to the Venkys. Years 11-15 has a reduction in debt to the Venkys (-£6 million) but a large increase (+£51.24 million) in equity.
  5. Seems the Oxford forum have more information on pitch inspections than we have due to lack of communication out of Ewood.
  6. It had already been turned upside down, and flipped about a few more times before that snowball connected!
  7. If I was Wharton I'd look abroad. The top clubs in England are chaotic at the moment and have huge squads. It's hard to be that sure you will get consistent games. Man Utd - really poor team, and have ruined and are ruining so many good young players you would have to be mad to go Man City - very stifling tactical setup, massive squad, what happens when Rodri is fit? Like Utd have track record of taking on young players and marginalising them Chelsea - truly massive squad, vast turnover, got a lot of centre mids. Liverpool - maybe best bet - but do they have any money after spending so huge in the summer? Arsenal - Could work but not sure they are looking to spend at the moment? Munich, Real, Barca all good shouts I would say.
  8. I have also been told being moved towards the exit due to wage level
  9. 3pm and 5pm. If so, then more likelihood of going ahead. But 5 is late for Oxford fans.
  10. Won't somebody think about poor old BwDBC. They need to know what is happening so they can make arrangements for their army of parking wardens to get on patrol. If the game is called off late they might incur additional wages and won't be able to fine anyone to cover it.
  11. We're really trying our hardest with the coalition and as the poster JB mentioned. As supporters, we need to be counted and stand up. This has gone on far enough. Why as a fan base are we allowing this to happen. 1 win and everything gets forgotten. It’s tinpot!!!
  12. Henry Winter has ran with their statements before but I haven’t seen anything from him yet. You would imagine he’s waiting on official word from the club or the EFL but there’s nothing but the standard silence there.
  13. We may move in the same circles. When i get a chance I was hoping to ask why not playing at moment.
  14. I guess so. I mean Dennis missed two absolute sitters at Sheffield last season that could of put us into playoffs. I hope Moussa kicks on and shows some quality. I just think more game time will see him improve. Perhaps starting him now Forshaw is out
  15. But only if you’re in the ‘right’ caste.
  16. Seen it mentioned on many a Football Forum of late....Football Fans dont matter anymore.
  17. I wonder if they are waiting to hear from Rovers as to why this shouldn’t be considered misconduct before they comment.
  18. Snowball. our world turned upside down Once that made the sweet connection.
  19. Yeah I get it, it's still a funny sentence, though.
  20. That's because they have a chance of keeping Mateta due to his age. Although that chance is getting slimmer due to his performances Wharton is gone regardless, to a club much higher up the ladder, so may as well cash in and keep another of their important players
  21. The Jam - To Be Someone (Didn’t We Have a Nice Time?)
  22. I’m more annoyed that they do a preview and remind folk to behave when they park and other such logistics but not a single mention of the pitch or any inspection. They try and take the fanbase for absolute idiots and the owners deserve the fanbase deserting them. Just be gone already. We hear about how important respect is in Indian culture now show some decency and let us start again.
  23. Selling Wharton to fund a contract for Mateta? Wow.
  24. The fact that theres a chance of a 3rd game not finishing as planned is embarassing. The fact that presumably in the hope that the game is passed fit to play and finished, then they can pretend there was never any jeopardy. That they havent said a word about potential inspections is absolutely pathetic. No care for people travelling especially a long way from Oxford.
  25. I agree he's looked alright. The amount of time he's been available definitely has to factor in to how useful he's been to the team, which as it stands, is minimally.
  26. He hasn't looked terrible in the 10 minutes we've seen him. I just don;t get how he has been training for 4 weeks, on the bench and featured briefly but can't be ready to start yet. He's had about a full pre-season back in training.
