Rovers Move Back To Sixth.

Rovers moved back into a european qualifying place, with a 2-0 win against Charlton at the Valley this evening.

Rovers who dominated the game, had to wait until just before half time, to go into the lead when Reid rose to head home a long throw in from Pedersen. Rovers went further ahead in the second half thanks to an own goal from Charltons Powell.

Today’s win against Charlton has set the scene for an exciting night at Ewood on Tuesday against Chelsea, before the final game of the season against Man City at Ewood next Sunday.

Hopefully supporters will turn out to give Mark Hughes and the team the deserved vocal support for the final push for European qualification and also in appreciation of what has been an outstanding season.
