Some hiking trail Abbey, makes me think of those pictures of builders building a skyscraper decades ago.

I've looked at this and maybe they have something underneath them a few dozen feet away.

They probably had a situation like this, not as bad as it first looks but don't fall backwards.

Incredible when you think about it the early construction of high rises, takes a certain kind of person I suppose, I was frightened to death when went up to the top of the sky tower in Auckland (inside) and couldn;t move from the inner walls to look out the glass that surrounds it , sent the Mrs to the edge with the video camera so I could look at it later :)

Maybe someone here will know, I think I once read in a magazine that a skyscraper in Toronto actually has a "glass floor", I know the picture in the magazine looked down on a baseball diamond, I thought it was right over it.

Also, a question of balance or not, it is nuts that that one acrobat does those long walks, no thanks. Why tempt fate? I guess he is well paid but it has a freak show quality on tv, you are just watching to see if he might fall. The wind too, is a danger for those people.

Nik Wallenda: he is attached in the last photo but on some walks, there is no attachment (looks like it in the first). Anyway, I stopped watching those shows. It's disturbing to me.

It mentions the glass floor in I presume the tower you are talking about here , http://www.cntower.ca/en-ca/plan-your-visit/attractions/glass-floor.html

Here you can see the views from the Auckland one. https://www.skycityauckland.co.nz/attractions/sky-tower/explore-the-sky-tower/views-from-the-tower/ which has a couple of glass panels in the floor, the angle of the windows was enough to put me off going anywhere near them, needless to say doing the walk around outside didn't appeal to me in the slightest:)

Ironically caught on a camera to record the activities of vermin.

Great TV idea. Anybody rem the Golden Shot? How about recreating it with a 2015 version? "Bernie the bolt please."

British forces brought back Indian Clubs from India. This is not too difficult of exercise if the clubs are not exceedingly heavy. They come in all sizes. I think the Indian Clubs can be somewhat therapeutic.

Steve Angell is one strong guy if one looks at his videos of weight-lifting, some good presses and other manoeuvres.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRbio87dHAM

Of course, Paul, the other one, is really Mr. Indian Club and hails from Australia.

Steve starts doing a little Tai Chi at 3 minutes in the 2nd video before he starts swinging the clubs. Anyone do Tai Chi??

I have not had formal classes in Tai Chi but sometimes, I can find rhythm to make those kinds of movements with the arms and rest of the body.

I am sorry for the topic locking, so we should avoid controversy.

This is amazing that Chris Wilcock of Darwen, Lancashire passed away and his death is being linked to diet pill use, caffeine is being mentioned in the article as well. Rest in Peace

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lancashire-33344754

Mr Wilcock, who was a pub landlord, died after taking a supplement known as T5, which contained caffeine equivalent to 300 cups of coffee.

T5 is a generic name for products that are often marketed as slimming aids. They are classified as food supplements instead of medicines, are legal and widely available.

300 cups of coffee, I've never seen this T5, obviously, this is way too much caffeine. It's almost crazy they'd put that much into a pill.

T5 http://fatburnpills.org.uk/t5-fat-burners/

This article seems to say the equivalent of 300 cups of coffee was found in his system, not sure if the pills have that much: http://www.nutraingredients.com/Regulation-Policy/Fat-burning-supplement-death-is-tragic-but-don-t-blame-the-supplement-industry-says-supplemements-industry
