Everyone enjoying the drought?

Main road through Buckshaw closed due to Roundabout mutation into pond. People still driving past the cones and road flooded signs. 3 got stuck so far, it's about 3 feet deep.

Heard similar issues on A666 in Darwen too.

A674 Chorley Blackburn closed last night at Wheelton about 1.30am as we made our way back from the Etihad. As we left the stadium announcements told those travelling by train to Wigan, Bolton and Preston to find an alternative - at 11.00pm!

We have four lodges in our village, one has been empty for 30+ years. Today it's full, as is our garage! :(

Today was the 8th consecutive day of 35oC+. Heat records are being broken all over the place on the US east coast. It's meant to rain tonight but no sign of it yet.

Already looking like there will be major financial repercussions felt here in the UK as well as all around the globe for your current drought and heatwave speeedie. :(
