Woodgate is possible the best centre half in the country at the moment so I can see us struggling to score. I just have a feeling though that our defence may be galvanised into keeping a clean sheet even though the evidence suggests otherwise.

0-0.

BBC preview boro-Rovers

from the preview:

Blackburn will be without two strikers. Jason Roberts has a groin injury and fellow forward Francis Jeffers is ill.

Midfielder Steven Reid is struggling with a back complaint and defender Andy Todd has a leg injury.

Blackburn (from): Friedel, Neill, Khizanishvili, Tugay, Emerton, Savage, Bentley, Nonda, McCarthy, Pedersen, Mokoena, Jeffers, Gallagher, Ooijer, Brown, Gray, Peter, McEveley

so we are without Jeffers up front, I guess that Nonda will be given his first start for the club then. And Todd out of the team will be no difference, but if Hughes should choose to play Mokoena instead of Tugay, we might have Gray on the bench? since Jeffers will not be there anyway..

sorry if this have been posted earlier..

I predict the following team.

Friedel

Emerton - Zurab - Ooijer - Neill

Bentley - Savage - Mokoena - Gamst

Nonda - Benni

Subs: Brown, Gray, Tugay, Gallagher, Peter

Difficult to predict IMO due to various reasons could go anyway;

Boro stung by the midweek result and need a win - Boro

Rovers a bit more galvanised at moment and on a bit of a mini run -Rovers

Rovers have started scoring, Boro forwards don't appear to be -Rovers

Rovers defence does not exist at the moment - Boro

If Brad not on form - Boro

If Brad on form - Rovers

Woodgate on form - Draw

Last Season we trebled them

Will it be 3 away draws in a row for Rovers?

Can we keep a second away clean sheet in the league?

So I think I will sit on the fence and go for a draw - but as I can't see our defence keeping them out will go for 1-1

"But Mark Hughes is expected to keep faith with central defensive partnership of Andre Ooijer and Zurab Khizanishvili. New Zealand international Ryan Nelsen looks likely to be out through injury until Christmas but Andy Todd and Dominic Matteo are also in contention."

middlesbrough's official preview

this guy don't have clue, even I should be in contention before the elephant :P

Completely agree with that team.

2-1 Rovers. ooijer to have his first good game in a rovers shirt.
