Salgados Hair
Gotta be a massive plus for Rovers that City don't have Barton available for selection. 0-2 - (MGP and benni)
cn174
***NOTICE TO THOSE GOING BY TRAIN *** Just been looking at trains to and from Manchester You have to get a bus from Blackburn to either Bolton or Preston, then get the train from there to Manchester Same both ways - going and coming back Journey time varies from 1 hour 17 mins to 1 hour 40 mins It'd be best to give yourself about an hours more time than you would normally, because the bus replacement services in general do not run to the timetable it gives on the website. ,if the weather is like it has been today there will not be any trains at all. Sparky Marky
Tomorrow will be my first visit to Wastelands, so can somebody advise me the best way to get from the City Centre to the ground....Is there a tram? Thanks in advance.
Ray-Von
Tomorrow will be my first visit to Wastelands, so can somebody advise me the best way to get from the City Centre to the ground....Is there a tram? Thanks in advance. No trams run up that way unfortunately. If you head towards Piccadilly Railway Station, its about 15 - 20 min walk from there through Ancoats/Bradford. There are plenty of signs; look for "Sports City." Like most modern grounds, there isnt a great deal to do around the ground itself. Youre better off drinking around town to be honest. I can't see a taxi being more than a fiver or so.

Ray-Von
Theres a pretty decent Bus Service from Accrington via the M66 which terminates at Chorlton Street, about 5 min walk from Piccadilly for a fiver return. Last bus is at 11 ish, so gives the opportunity for a few drinks afterwards.

RoyRover
We've had a week to get over the Arsenal result and prepare for this game and hopefully we will see a reaction from the players. Manchester City away is always a tricky tie, but with Joey Barton out for them, we should have enough quality in our team to get a win. 2-1 Rovers win, McCarthy and Nonda to score. colin
Can anyone advise me on where Away fans can park? There's the usual industrial estate places between Piccadilly station and Eastlands who will take a fiver off you. You could try the car parks next to Eastlands but they might get full early on Don't try parking on the local streets - there is a match day resident-permit-holders-only scheme in place and you'll get a ticket. Don't even think about the Asda next door to Eastlands. Unless you can take the missus and get her to do the shopping and move the car every 30 minutes. If your legs work OK and you don't fancy paying, your best bet is probably to the east of the ground on the way in from the M60.

daren
Hahahaaha, gotta love that (Some Obscure Player) guy. Prolific.... Thank god Barton is out. Also, apparently Manchester City haven't beaten Blackburn at home in the Premiership for 14 years (I can't find a site to confirm this, but SSN are usually right with these statistics), of course I'm touching wood as I say this. Going for a 1-3 to Rovers win, with Bentley, Nonda and Benni to score for us. A bit torn on whether or not to pay for the game, as Munster are playing their last game in Thomond Park before redevelopment at 5:35, and there will essentially be a Limerick-wide party tomorrow What to do!
