Apparantly the Spurs fans were singing this at West Ham:

"You put ya Argentines in, Ya Argentines out,

The Iceman comes and kicks the gaffer out,

Ya selling Reo-Coker & ya going down

That's why we love to shout.......

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh ***ky, ***ky West Ham,

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh ***ky, ***ky West Ham,

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh ***ky, ***ky West Ham.

Misfits, has-beens, ha ha ha!!"

I enjoyed it anyway!

I'm not happy with what Lucus did, but at the same time I won't be booing him.I just think at the end of the day, that Rovers ended up with the best deal all round. He's West Hams problem, now, and I've rather concentrate on Rovers going forward and onwards without him.

Come on Lucas, one push in the box , and Benni will punish you.

This game is a hiding to nothing for us. Win and we were expected to win, lose and it's a shock. Our record against the bottom 3 and teams that haven't won for ages always results in us losing.

2-1 to West Ham.

Maybe change "Ya selling Reo-Coker" to "you bought a dirty Ozzy"

Yes

...So can I get a ride down to London with you after the match?

Sinon, Simon, the last train from Brum to London is at 22:00 which is cutting it a bit tight if there's traffic on the way! Though a mate has offered to put me up in Brum for the night so I'll let you know soon.

Thanks.

No probs. Hope you're able to sort it with Janice.

I had no idea the London trains dried up so early. No surprise though: trains being bobbins!

What about this in the tune of Yesterday:

Hughsey,

He bought Nelsen in from DC,

Now he's got the club captaincy,

Oh I believe in Hughsey.

Then one day,

He bought Samba for four hundred k,

Now it looks as though he's here to stay,

Oh I believe in Hughsey.

Why Neill had to go, for the dough, I hear them say,

He, did something wrong, moved along, for higher paaaaaaay.

Sunday,

He could have played and beat Man Citeh,

But now he's going down with curbishley,

Oh I believe in Hughsey.

:) yes i'm bored at work!

Nice tune Pugg.

Anyways, I'd feel more worried about this game if it were closer on the heels of the 4-3 defeat to Spurs. Because then the fire of "we were so close, we had them, we cna do it..." etc would be still relevant. But they will have had alomost two full weeks to stew in the fact that they gave up 3 points i the closing mins of a match they had won. I just see them in a spiral of misery. Maybe Lucas in his typically firey mentality can get them fired up, but I just don't see it. And they would have to get very fired up to beat us at the moment given the respective form of W. Ham and Rovers at the moment.

Of course I would like us to win every game remaining this season; but after the cup semi final and final two league games stand out.

Primarily, now that Chelski are just six points behind ManUre and have still to play them, I would like a victory for us at the Theatre of Merchandising to be crucial in denying the Red Scum the championship.

Secondly I would like us to thrash the 'ammers five or six nil on Saturday subjecting Lucash to a ritual humiliation.

Not too much to ask is it?

Not at all, revenge for losing at The Boleyn Ground by our winning by a large score is simply a fair outcome.

Lucash & a red card would be the icing on the cake.
