Probably not the most reliable guide, but his price on Betfair has tumbled over the last 3-4 hours.

Anyone wondering why Nicko said he had a "busy day" today?

I reckon it's on.

Coyle met with the Celtic CEO on Monday Night after their Wembley win whilst the CEO was on route to Rome.

Betfair have stopped taking bets and the new Celtic manager, Owen Coyle, will be announced tomorrow, Friday. :brfcsmilie:

this is from within the Celtic inner circle.

betfair are still taking bets, but Coyle has just gone odds on for the first time. Could be worth a bet if its a reliable source.

Look at people like Ian Dowie and Billy Davies

They gave the Pl 'a go'

Look at them now

People could argue look at Tony Pulis & Phil Brown.

For every failure there is a success story there so thats garbage.

He wont go, said so himself.

Wishful thinking!

Maybe not this time, but the next time ? If he's as good as people think he is there'll be a next time soon. If one of the big boys is bumping around the bottom come next Oct/Nov and he's still got your head above water ? There's always one . If he isn't as good as you think you're stuck with him ! It's a great game this football.

Betfair never stops taking bets untill there is an oficial announcement.

Its not Betfair that offers odds anyway, its punters willing to take the place of the bookie accepting the bets.

I'd be very suprised if he left now, surely he would want to give the Premier League a go?

Then again i suppose its always better to go out on a high.

Surely he would prefer to give the champions league 'a go'. Celtic is a massive job for any manager, a season of burnley getting thrashed would wipe his name off any big teams radar.

Now then, if he did go, who do you think would be first in line to apply for another crack at the Premier League? To prove that he's as good as he and his media friends think he is.......................................yep, step forward Paul Ince, your chance has come!

Wishful thinking I know.

Surely its a no-brainer?!? A season at the bottom of the Prem, humiliated every week or glory with a big club, a shot at Europe and if successful the attention of proper PL clubs. He'd be mad to stay!
