Tyrone Shoelaces
He was playing in goal for Burnley in the first derby I attended. Rovers put two past him that day. He was a great goalie for Burnley, but for Bill Brown at Spurs he would have got more caps for Scotland. He came to Rovers late in his career, his best days were at Turf Moor. R.I.P. Adam, thanks for the memories.
Fife Rover
Not much I can add that has not been said above, except that I also remember Adam as a very good keeper for both Burnley and Rovers. RIP big man, and condolences to his family.
Claytons Left Boot
Yes, RIP. Whilst John Barton was the keeper in my first game at Ewood, it is Adam Blacklaw that I remember most. He took over shortly after and was the regular keeper from then on. Another sad day.
thenodrog
Hell of a kick on him. The ball frequently came down on to Jim Fryatts bald pate with snow on it! I'm sure the resulting 'slap' could be heard in Darwen. btw First time I actually saw that for real was last week v Notlob.
