ewoodpo
This is probably why Blackpool want their first game to be away from home. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/blackpool/8736398.stm
Ste B
Wouldnt they swap it around now though as the 2 biggest policing operations will be the premier league teams?! I imagine they wont have us and the dingles at home at the same time, as there could be some interesting away trips next year..

brfcshabba
What is the likelihood of the Blackpool match being moved to a Sunday? Fly back from the States on the Saturday and therefore would miss it.
Backroom Tom Posted June 17, 2010 Backroom Share Posted June 17, 2010 Very kind december for us there with a tough run in but we said similar last year
bellamy11
Can we legally post that? Having a quick glance there don't appear to be any real nightmare runs of 4 or 5 games where there don't seem to be many/any points available. Perhaps that's just the euphoria of finishing last season in good form talking though.
alexanders
whoops I missed off the "g" hell. Now i won't be able to see a Blackburn match when in London. Not a single away match against London opposition for August / September / October. What are the odds?
ewoodpo
Let's hope the title us decided before Manure come to Ewood . Wouldn't want them coming here and wanting something from the game to win the league.
Glenn
Can we legally post that? No. Which is why I removed it. I'm working on securing us a fixture license again this year, but it's LOT of hoops to jump through and we normally have better things to spend our time/money on. Just to clarify. We * DON'T * yet have a license to publish this years fixtures and The Football League are VERY protective of it and quickly jump on not-for-profit sites who display it without a licence. Yes it's odd considering it's now effectively public domain, but thems the rules. SO DON'T POST IT HERE PLEASE
Hughesy
Opening weekend of Liverpool v Arsenal & Spurs v City = tough!! Liverpools next game – away to City!!! As for ours – Everton early is getting common now, along with Sunderland around new year time, United at home near the end & Midlands away for last game! Also all the ‘missing 3’ are in the 2nd half of the season….
3rdpillar
according to premier league site, Wolves play Pompy on 1st of May. Can't always believe what you read....LOL

Iceman
its a tough start for us, but im happy with the fixtures. 2 home games to start off with, with Brum away in the middle. The only bad run of fixtures, might be in November where we have Newcastle, Villa, Spurs and United. Sam needs to get a few good players in though, because we need to get off to a good start. Hughesy
Everton Home, Brum Away, Arsenal Home, City Away - I would consider that a good run to have early on, as 2 of those teams usually start slow & 1 will be full of new players again!

Hughesy
Interesting run in for the 4 teams you would consider anywhere close to the title next season……Especially when you throw Champs league & Cup games into that mix. Title Run in – Last 5 games Chelsea – West Ham (H), Spurs (H), United (A), Newcastle (H), Everton (A) Utd – Everton (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Blackburn (A), Blackpool (H) Arsenal – Bolton (A), United (H), Stoke (A), Villa (H), Fulham (A) City – Blackburn (A), West Ham (H), Everton (A), Stoke (H), Bolton (A)
