JAL
Bolton dropped like a stone at the end, a stunningly bad end to the season that must have cost them about £5million in terms of league place prize money. For a club like Bolton thats a lot of revenue to lose. They did, im abit of a believer in that yoiu start the new season as you finished the lastone which if it was tocome true in Bo

A cup of beans
Didn't win the Champs League though. Their running out of managers who can win that! the man who sleeps in a coffin nearly won the champs league for em.. avram. he was a a john terry slip away from being a king of europe. anchelotti though has proved he can win the champs league as a manager.. and cant believe he's been sacked. he was the 1st manager in their history to win the double and 12 months later he's off. id wonder who would take the job, working under abramovic. but then again, its football and egos and money comes into it,,, and theyd get a decent payoff even if they failed. but roman is a clown when it comes to firing managers.. he must be getting some really bad advice from his russian friends.. jerome anderson must be advising him.. i blame him! Iceman
that's a nice amount of money to get. in fact Venkys can just use that, to pay for transfers and wages etc. :-)

RevidgeBlue
When does the transfer window open? Is it now or after the champions league? I always understood players could be signed after July 1st which is when players contracts normally run to. Of course there's nothing stopping wheels being put in motion and deals being done in principle before then.

JAL
Not finishing 10th therefore cost us almost £4 million alone. Dont forget to add £3m for big Sam and his teams pay off. £2m for crocky crappy Santa Cruz. Wonder how big Rovers debts have grown under Venky's inside the past six months. Stuart
Just seems like yet another stick to beat North West clubs with. A bit cliched really. I'd love to hear of a London club accused of hoofball. Maybe QPR will be the first - IF they keep Colin in charge next season.
Grabbi Graeme
Anyone see Granada Reports, they showed a clip of the Man Utd press conference, the press would have been told before hand not to ask questions about Giggs. But one brave journalist thought he would have a go, by mentioning Giggs in a question, after Fergie had given a short answer, he is seen leaning over to his press officers and telling her that the reporter who asked the Giggs question was to be banned from Fridays press conference. Best headline of the day "Naming Private Ryan"
