Iceman
Good game England vs India. Could have gone either way, but on the balance a tie is probably a fair result.

jim mk2
Good old England, always guaranteed to cock it up in the World Cup whether it be cricket, rugby or football. Stunning innings by O'Brien. He's never played like that for Northants.
Neil Weaver
He's never played like that for Northants. No wonder, he hasn't played for em.

Ricky
I'm amazed nobody has picked up on the Canadian bowler who's just been falling out with Gul. Balaji Rao... now where have I heard that name before
Neil Weaver
Balaji Rao... now where have I heard that name before Ricky, I posted a pic somewhere on the main board. He's moonlighting, report him to his mum.

jim mk2
Good old England and another cracking game of cricket - this World Cup is turning out much better than expected. Perhaos the 50-overs format ain't dead yet.
SouthAussieRover
Always good to see the Saffers beaten.
Iceman
Well talk about chokers at World Cups, amazing. Good stuff by England, but SA just can't handle spin. I'm still betting on the Australians winning the World Cup. Nobody giving them a chance, so wouldn't surprise me to see them going all the way. Neil Weaver
Not to mention little cameos from N McCullum and Oram. You don't see scoring like that in Twenty 20! 188-5 after 44 overs, 302-7 after 50 featuring 92 in 25 balls after that sixth wicket fell. That seventh wicket partnership was worth 85 in 22 balls by my reckoning. K O'Brien eat your heart out.
Flopsy
I recommend listening to the Testmatch Sofa highlights with Iain Obrien getting more and more excited whilst trying to stay professional and commentate on whats going on
Iceman
England 225 all out against Bangladesh.. Bangladesh currently on 50 without the loss of a wicket in the 8th over. England in danger of not qualifying at this rate, pretty poor world cup so far from England.
neekoy
England will struggle to qualify, you would assume South africa with two games in hand will overtake them and England still has to win against the West Indies if Bangladesh defeats the Netherlands. The top 4 for Group A look secure
Al
Not to worry it's only the one day hit and hope. Proper cricket will be back soon.

jim mk2
Remarkable victory - not sure if England deserve to go through but that's cricket.
SouthAussieRover
England aren't mathematically through yet.Having said that I can't see Bangladesh beating SA or the Windies taking a point off India.
SouthAussieRover
Thankfully for England, South Africa has achieved a victory over Bangladesh (and Ireland previously).
dave birch
Is this farce still going on? On a more important note, Ponting is in his (how should I put this) last days. None too soon. The problem is, his replacement, one Michael Clarke, no thanks.
