One or two bad decisions is bad to take but 4 gmes in a row these biased pricks have stitched or tried to stitch us ,penalties, dodgy freekicks, lack of bookings on other sides, non pens for us..dont know if its because im biased but ive never been so angry as i was today in the 2nd half and after the game. I was ready to kick off with anyone after todays game.

RESPECT ? RESPECT HAS TO BE EARNED AND YOU CHEATING CORRUPT MUTHAS HAVE NOT ANY!!!

Not often I agree Abbey but I really haven't seen worse at Ewood in recent years. The only good thing was we didn't give him the opportunity to give a pen agaisnt us of he would have without hesitation.

Totally agree. The refereeing of the past few Rovers games has been diabolical. I really can't understand what's going on, we play away and there's an expected bias towards the home team, we play at home and there's an inexplicable bias towards the away team! It really is difficult to avoid thoughts of a conspiracy at this point. Referees are only human and are no doubt fans of general football, have they latched onto this idea that we deserve to go down because of our owners? Most of the decisions today were atrocious.

We have had major decisions go against us in every game since the Fulham match, I feel we are being harshly treated at the moment.

We had a season under Hughes were we very hard working and did'nt get one penalty all season, the fact is the players did'nt go down very easy, our current decisions are based on nothing but bias it seems.

Damn right Abbey, Foy was absolute dog**** today and should be hauled in front of the FA.

I said in another post that someone within the club needs to stand up compile the evidence and send it to the FA and get some recognition on the subject.

Put the spotlight on the refs and the calls they are making.

I said to my mate all afternoon that this is going way past a joke and almost stinks of a deliberate attempt to push us out the league.

THIS ###### CANNOT GO ON ANY LONGER, BAD ENOUGH WE HAVE OWNERS THAT HAVE NO CLUE BUT TO GET SHAFTED BY REFS WEEK IN WEEK OUT IS BECOMING TO MUCH TO HANDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We took one of my son's mates with us. He's not a Rovers fan. He couldn't believe how awful the ref was. He was almost incandescent with rage at one or two decisions. If a neutral can see that we are being unfairly treated then why can't the powers that be. Or do they not want to?

I don't want to subscribe to a conspiracy theory gumboots, but I would have to agree that it does appear we are getting dealt the short end of the stick and no one outside of rovers appears to give a damn!

What skills do you think you need to become a professional Referee?

A good positive attitude, a willingness to listen and learn and a few years refereeing the big games on the Football League.

He's taking the ###### right?

The decision to book Olsson one minute in for a slightly mistimed tackle and then ignore the exact same type of tackle from one of theirs further up the field summed him up.

Also if Nzonzi got a red for going in with his studs showing how was Carr not sent off today for his lunge?

Could it be anything to do with the fact that Kean refuses to criticise referees? "They have a hard job, blah, blah". He might as well just bend over.

Refs know they can give whatever they want against us without any comeback so they do. It's infuriating.

Kean needs to grow a pair.

The olsson booking was little short of ridiculous, how can you book a player two minutes into the game for what was no more than a good challenge?

We are in so much trouble now it beggers belief, most of it self inflicted, but now the FA and it's goons are getting stuck in too.

Precisely, someone within the club needs to step up. It says it all when he claimed the Blackpool penalty WAS a penalty, stupid stupid man!

its clear as day

rovers are not popular at the mo in the game, foreign ownership, agents running amok, but we are not the bottom feeders, its the refs who are, the overweight little men with 20 years or more on most of the players ( take a bow chris foy) and they seem to be doing their best to raise their profile by currying favour with the big boys in the game.

Some of the decisions they have made against us have been absurd, but they can get away with it as the are totally unaccountable, they have so much protection that they can do whatever they like and not come on after the game and explain what they have been up to like the players and managers do.

The ref today by the way, well he didnt get a single decision right for either team did he

No maybe not, however we didn't enjoy scoring a goal from one of his many poor decisions.

The flipping linesman on the JW side was nothing short of appaling, he let Larsson of with at least two blatant offside calls.

I will leave this subject alone now, clear to see I'm furious with it, nothing we can do though......

I never really looked at it like that but now you mention it your 100% spot on.

I do agree slightly that refs are pretty much given a hard time by managers players and every tv pundit likes to put there penneth in, they dont see the replays like we do and have to see things at real time speed at eye level.

However like you say you dont go giving every ref the easy option to give the other team every decision, time for him to question a decision or two.

I think refs (or ref association) are scared that they'll be sued if they admitted making a bad decision. There's millions riding on their decisions.

I think that the teams need to sign an agreement that refs (and assoc) will be immune from prosecution for bad decisions.

It wouldn't help the decisions, but would stop the idiotic defence of these clearly wrong decisions. How can fans, players and managers respect refs who stand by decisions that are clearly wrong?

the thing that appauled me the most was

a: the way he had no idea about letting play continue and resolving everything with a drop ball, he didnt even get those right, there was one where after a re take of a bloody drop ball the brum player took the ###### out of him

b: lost total command of all the players constantly around him. they were running the game

The drop ball where he ordered a re-take was laughable. The ball is live when it hits the floor. The brum player was fannying about so Salgado kicked it. The ref insisted it be re-dropped! Fool!

It's time for the FA to admit that the refs need help - there are too many mistakes made and they are becoming very costly. It's difficult to expect anybody to respect referees when many of them at the highest levels get decisions consistantly wrong. The game needs to catch up with the modern world and start using technology to aid the referees. It may slow the game down a little but for the big decisions at least I'd rather have slight delays then the ref calling the wrong decision and potentially costing a club a place in a competition.

Our last 7 games....

Rovers v Birmingham – Hoilett no free-kick in 1st half, but not booked for diving either....Ferguson goes down and grabs the ball so he had to give it. Hoilett out wide on right – clearly pushed (showed on MOTD) but no foul. Jones pushed also to allow them to break, no foul. Dunn fouled on edge of the box, tried to keep going but the foul made him lose balance, no foul! Olsson booked early on for a nothing challenge, in 2nd half he was bursting through, took down from behind – foul but no booking.

Rovers v Arsenal – Nzonzi red card very harsh

Rovers v Blackpool – A penalty which even the oppositions mgr said wasn’t one, and again a free-kick which should have been which they scored off.

Rovers v Fulham – Penalty in the last minute, comical! Givet sent off, even though he wasn’t playing! Joke

Rovers v Villa – Nelsen sent off on 93 minutes, again what is the point in that! Joke.

Rovers v Newcastle – fair game, fair ref....WOW

Rovers v Wigan – Penalty for wigan....joke

They say these things even themselves out....if thats the case we will have 3 penalties against City then please. Oh and United can have 2 men sent off in the 1st 20 mins at Ewood.

Quite right Abs I have been saying it for donkeys years how can anyone respect the ref's when they constantly screw up I agree Carr should have been done for violence totally shocking lunge Hughesy you miss out one vital decision around the 85th minute I think when Johnson hauled Benjani down was right in front of my eyes clear penalty & Johnson should have been red carded & have to agree with everyone today that guy is not fit to referee not even fit enough to lick Tugay's boots let alone ref a prem lge match!.

They don't. I'm still waiting for things to have been evened out since 1994. Rovers are owed about 16 years of decisions, especially against the big boys. Does anyone even remember us getting a dodgy penalty / goal against the media darling teams?
