I'd like to see us sign Jones but not sure he's worth some of the telephone numbers being quoted on here.

He's also run up seven bookings since January so would spend a substantial part of the campaign suspended over a whole season.

3-4 m tops.

The other two no although I do think Diouf might come come at some point. We can't afford to wait/take the risk.

What was you doing at 1.38am?? lol

I think Diouf should depend on the price, for a low fee he has potential to be a good buy. He is raw yes, but still young.

JJ without a doubt needs sorting now - problem is parent club now have new manager that wants to keep him.

Rev - wouldn't worry about the yellows - some are just from him getting up to speed and you have to expect some for being a midfielder and the type of player he is.

Has to be in our price range if funds available - surely?

Diouf - thought he would sparkle after if first few games - certainly has something (but what?) possibly worth a try at the right price but do we have time /can we afford to risk it.

RSC - a shame considering we knew what he was/is capable  capable of , but surely this was his easiest chance to prove his worth - has to be a no surely down to factor of wages alone v value/performance to club even before you register in his non-existent displays thus far.

JJ and O`Hara would make a good centre mid duo.

O'Hara?? He's ok - but not of the same level as JJ. He's hardly standing out for Wolves either.

Krancjar from Spurs wouldnt be a bad shout to add to our midfield. Could also maybe raid on or two of the clubs that go down (assuming we stay up)

For me, JJ's been the most consistent player of the second half of the season, notwithstanding Samba's wonderful display on Saturday. Hope the club move Heaven & Earth to get him on a permanent contract.

As for the other two, RSC's not a patch on the RSC of his first season with us; so, sorry, in the words of the World War 1 song, "We don't want to lose you but we think you ought to go."

As for M.B Diouf, he doesn't seem up to the Premier League; I'd be surprised if he were a Man Un-tied [oops; that spell-checker!:D ] player this time next season. That doesn't mean I think he should be a BRFC player this time next season, either!

Mame Biram Diouf - is worth a try if the price isn't too high. Not been brilliant but definitely has potential and the raw attributes to make a good player for our level. Yes.

Roque Santa Cruz - No, already been explained, gutted because he's capable of so much more.

Jermaine Jones - Yes, definitely. Best central midfielder we've seen at Rovers for a good while.

31 people voting 'Yes' to sign Diouf!!

he's been not much better than Di Santo was last year.

people mistake the fact he has pace for being good.

awful scoring record, has missed numerous good chances and I'd bet United are looking to offload him next season.

I voted yes for Diouf on the condition that he is a Roberts replacement (I believe Jewell wants Roberts at Ipswich?)

6 goals vs 1...not sure how you can compare him to Di Santo

Alot of the games hes featured in have been from the right wing, even though he's a striker....as for missing chances, name another 1st team striker we have who would have scored his goal at Bolton.

the finish at bolton was deflected..(is noticable on the low angle replay).

keeper wouldve saved it apart from that.

on his scoring 6.. 3 were against norwich's 2nd team..

dont rate him, he's quick but forever mis-controls the ball.

he gives his all.. cant fault him on that, he's just not prem quality.

maybe the Di Santo comparison was a bit extreme but Diouf isn't Premiership quality.

quick and lively but lacks composure in front of goal.

i'd have liked to have seen him in a front two more often this season but we've not had that luxury.

if he was available on a free (or <500K) then maybe as back-up but otherwise not worth the money.
