It was as weak as it was this morning, why is this a surprise to you now???

The success of our season depends on our actions in the transfer market over the next 3 weeks. This is obvious to everyone. Pointing out that the squad isn't strong enough now is hardly a revelation. We need a new striker, a solid midfielder, a centre back and one further winger. The squad isnt good enough now, but everyone knows that, its not worth repeating.

Never said it was suprise, nor am I claiming this as breaking news - simply my observation of the team today.

We have a team playing as I type that could well be our starting IX next week.

With 7 days until the season kicks off it is worth reminding ourselves of our current squad depth and strength.

Where's Andrews and Grella? Hope both can't be injured, I hope their off to pastures new.

And no Blackman in the team?

I think we will see a new defender arriwing next week. But I hope that Samba will be fit for the start.

Cryer tweeting Rovers have not been in the game this half but the game has degenerated.

It's the second half syndrome again Philip. It's gone on far too long now, something is clearly not right with either half time teamtalks, fitness or tactical flexibility. It basically appears that opposition managers can out think Kean.

The problem has been going on long before Kean

I agree that it's been there for a while, but i think it was more of a case of only playing well in one half under Big Sam, rarely both. There is a clear pattern of degeneration in the performance in the second half.
