Well, as I'm fed up with the negativity surrounding both Rovers and this site, I'm going to hijack Stu Wilkey's birthday (as a quite a number of the "old guard" of BRFCS posters ar going) and do something we used to do for most away games but haven't done in years that I used to really enjoy and used to bring the posters closer together.

A pre-game pub meetup.

Keep an eye on this thread on the day to find out where we'll be drinking and make sure you come over, say Hi and put some name to the faces.

A pre-game pub meetup.

Keep an eye on this thread on the day to find out where we'll be drinking and make sure you come over, say Hi and put some name to the faces.

I could even do one for the east coasters in Australia, though the distances are greater, it could come off.

Any Aussies want to do it, pm me.

Seems to be a popular for some reason (new ground for a few I guess).

We have been talking about doing something here in Blackburn, but the dark cloud over Ewood seems to have left us all in a state of apathy.

We've only seemed to have sold one block so far and a bit of the other. Although I still think we will sell out.

one of the better places for a stay over (or used to be) - although there always seemed to be alot more of the 'underaged' group out at night compared to anywhere else.

Veevs -Is the Mustard pot still open?

Where are we meeting before the game? If you need any suggestions let me know as its my neck of the woods. Good night life as well if anyone is staying on. Hopefully we will have something to celebrate!!

Popular choice seem to be Wagon and Horses, Complete Angler, the place next door to the Dragon's Cave (whose name escapes me, something water related).

I'll try and update here/twitter/4sq as we inevitably move from one to the other

Do you mean the coach and horses rather than wagon and horses? This one.. and it is a very very good pub

Complete Angler is a bit of a dive.. and the Dragon's Cave.. err never heard of that :)

Yeah I believe it is, don't go up that end much but it was last time I checked :)

A few decent pubs around in the city center, but will probably want one near the ground.

Coach and horses mentioned above is always a good choice for matches, nearish to the ground and railway station, TV screens with live footy, own brewary, nice atmosphere.. a little pricey and probably busy but worth it.

Fair few changes in Norwich since the last matches over there.. so please give me a bell if you need a hand finding a place, last time they where up was one season back in 2004 lol :)

Well, my prefered choice is the wagon and horses (forgive me on the name, it's a looooong time since we've been there). It it was just up to me, that's where I'd be heading, but I'm part of a big group today.

I seem to remember one of the notable things about the Dragon's Cave was it didn't have it's name outside, but I was thinking of the pub next door (Clarence Harbour ?). However looking on street view, where I thought they were is now a line of new looking apartment buildings, so I guess they've gone. :(
