The Special AKA - Free Nelson Mandela

True story - I jumped on stage at my wedding in 1989 and sang this with the band just to wind up a guest on my wife's side who thought Mandela was nothing but a terrorist.

Fast forward a couple of years and during Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom my mate Paddy (RIP) phoned my house and said "Hey oldjamfan, are you watching BBC News?" 

When I replied that I was, he said "They are only letting him out so you don't sing that fucking song again!"
